I am trying to find cause of hypertension. I have no history. Noticed after vaccine in March. Seeing regular numbers in 180-190 systolic. First thing doctor did was Rx statins.
I just got an MRI to check kidneys. Kidneys are fine, but they found a AAA. Thank God. But I am already at 5.0. Pure luck. Wasn't even looking.
My doctor ordered a CT for lungs. Ok. X-ray of neck looking for vegus nerve pinch. Ok. Ultrasound on corotid in neck. Ok. Still scheduled for nuclear stress test in two days. I don't know. Tough to put system under such a strain knowing I have AAA.
Cardiologist says we can try the dye instead of treadmill. In Washington DC area, do there are tons of good hospitals and folks to care for me, yet I still feel odd about it.
    Let you know...

I am almost 72 y/o and I have a small aortic aneurism. I am female. I am wondering if I should be seeking surgery to prevent it from getting worse or just have a CT scan yearly? What type of exercise is okay to do to stay otherwise healthy with this issue? Also, would vaccinations be okay to get, or should I stay away from them? Thank you.
