idk if it would have been worth the trouble but for the cracked synthetic upper you might have been able to use a vinyl seat repair kit that would have filled in the cracks.
I would have to sand it down but the brittle leather would get damaged further. Vinyl has more structure and won’t crack further with stress

How do you restore netting stitching in using thread and needle and on the netting there’s of 61 stiched neeeded. I’ve finished each one singularly but can’t find out a method to thread like a toe box it’s much different
Hello! I've been watching your videos for a while and have a question that i cant seem to find the answer to anywhere else. How do you repair brittle plastic on sneakers? I bought an old pair of Newbalances i liked for $1 and the plastic is very brittle. Is there any way to fix it or should I just toss them? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I dont know much about sneakers. Thank you!

Too much heat can make the rubber soles expand. A heat gun isn’t necessary

You're supposed to thoroughly rinse the nu life antidote chemical BEFORE whitening. That was your problem. I use it all the time. Also - do you not glue the bottom of the shoes, just the sides?
I probably won’t use it again until I’m more comfortable with it. At least not with OGs with delicate material. There was no instructions on the bottle itself. Would you point me to the direction on where you found out that information?
@@johnandrew00 My bottle doesn't have instructions neither. It is kinda ghetto lol. He just came out with a patent leather finishing spray too. Tempted to try it. I've gotten mixed results with his products. Smells like windex or ammonia/hydrogen peroxide a little. They don't whiten as much as he claims in my opinion. He has tutorial videos on his youtube channel as well.

Can't get behind just painting over something that wasn't lined up right. Also cracking the material? There are several products out there that work better than sallys 40 volume. Research and asking others who know more could've solved both of those things. I appreciate you owning up to it, most people wouldn't unfortunately. Thanks for sharing.

I dm’d you about restoring some 2004 bred 13’s for me that I was willing to pay for. You turned me down because you said the material was too “hard” to work with. It’s a shame you only post videos that you know are a for sure stick. If you ad yourself as a shoe restorer you should be accepting all business. Bummer.
My glue doesn’t bond properly to the mesh material. If your 13s were made of all leather I would have taken them in. I’d prefer to turn down a service than to take in your shoes knowing the reglue job wont last. I’m still looking for a proper glue to bond to synthetic material like the mesh. I hope you understand
