I will always hope for them to get back together (as everyone does obvi) and I believe they eventually will, seeing and knowing how much they enjoyed the experiences and hanging around each other. And now you can even just see it in their eyes and expressions how much it meant to each of them and their time together. Their time apart was needed (in my opinion) but I truly feel like one day, something will really nag at one of them and they’ll think back to all the fun times, because their friendships aren’t like any other, it’s really incomparable, and they’ll contact one or all of them. Once they get to talking, I feel they’ll all naturally come to that realization. But when they decide to get back together, I hope that they’ll keep it private for a while. Plan out what they want to do -maybe do a world tour and sing their existing songs or maybe even start writing some new songs- just so they don’t fall back into right where they left off; stressed, pressured and controlled. Bc then when everyone finds out, everyone will lose their shit (I really just wrote a whole essay jesus)

He was talking about the end of the hiatus, not the band. They talked about taking a break, but they never put a date for the end of it. So, what he meant is that he would've prefered for someone to tell him that they would take a break for 5 years and then come back together again.

I totally agree with you! My besties friend is not a Directioner and she had the nerve to tell me Zayn is really bad and that he won’t ever be a true member of 1D because he left, and when I tell you I went off on one, you have no idea how long I yelled at her for! My bestie is sitting there setting herself with laughter and then HER friend tried to then say how bad one direction are and I got so mad, I was yelling in her face and the best part was my besties mum kicked her out for insulting one direction! yeah ok its sad they aren't together anymore but when i see them now or just after it i know they are living their second best live. Louis has a kid, like what i'm so fucking proud. Niall is smart as always, does the greatest decisions, talks beautiful things about the past and the future, he is sooooo grown up. Harry is the greatest man ever, he is against racism, homophobia, antifeminism,... He has such a pure heart. Liam got so strong and looks so healthy and like he has his whole life together. Zayn gets a baby soon with his beautiful girl gigi. They still make me soooo fucking happy. They always did. My tears are always good tears cause i know i lived in their best time. I always listened to their music. I was 4 when they started and just because of my sister i know them from the beginning. I'm so proud and thankful. And even if they won't reunite ever i would still be as thankful as i am now. It's their choice not the fans choice. If they think it will happen or if they don't i will still always understand their decision. They are 5 grown up beautfil men and that's all i need to be happy but i would be even happier when they will reunite. I love them forever and i will tell my kids about them so much and show them their music and if they don't like it i will play every album on reverse the whole day till they get used to it and love it like i do.
Glad you included zayn!but yah they needed a huge breather and focus on a real life full of peace,time for self growth,and relaxation after all the hard word they put themselves through physically and mentally

i hate it when people say that they’ve broken up. they haven’t !! it’s a break. and the boys are clearly showing it. they want to get back together but it’s all about timing and what works best for them❤️
