I saw Tetsujin 28, another Sandlot title that was like an improved engine for RAD and your giant robot could pick up other robots and buildings and throw them around like ragdolls. That is what robot combat in EDF6 should look like. Grab enemies and do wrestling moves on them. Throw buildings at bugs.

Every time I see your lobby on this mission "making a video" I give you my strength.

Kevin you forgot to recruit all of the NPC, they benefit off the power & defense as well, when you have all of NPC forward with you it makes your Nixes be able to survive better & you can heal them with item boxes which is main reason you'd take Nix instead of the Barga. Also NPC not in range for some of enemies if you have them with you they will be in range to shoot at most things, in a way having them surround you like using Barga. Although I'll admit it you did get kinda close in this run. The NPC nixes in this stage has infinite ammo too, but you can't heal them with item boxes, so it's beneficial to take front lead with your group NPC in this stage instead of letting vehicles take front lead because they can well some survive until the end of stage. Anyway there's multiple's ways to do this I'm just explaining why its good idea slightly charge into enemy instead of letting charge into your side of map, I just hope it makes sense.
If you don't mind, I wanna mention while you should recruit all NPC, that Fencer NPC have shields and unlike in 4.1 where they for cosmetic looks, in EDF5 they actually use dash/jump while using shields while taking pushback, this combined with Defense post add on even more to there defense is one of reasons why I believe why they outlast every other group in stage, at least when your trying to hold your ground, ultimately I think Wing Diver NPC are better when your doing a lot of movement. Trust me I seen these Fencer NPC in online eating close range gold ant shots while still in blue health, they can take hits provided they don't get flanked really badly, just not sure if shields can break on them or not, I imagine its infinite for them. I think in this stage there using handcannons so they can't jump, but they will have some pretty decent range which means they can shoot at some stuff pretty far compared to other NPC, idk maybe Sarge with his Blazer can hit far too. I think Wing Divers are more short range engagements.

Yes, I learn this in the following attempts lol I notice that the enemies target the NPCs instead of me and let me get close which is a huge difference.
At the start I didn't want to copy your strategy but I do wind up going to it because I fail to find another way.

Don't be ashamed NPC are available for all players to use, there the central part of missions designs anyway unless stage just doesn't have them, there intended to be recruited and used by players, while vehicles NPC remain static in one spot acting as dps, since they can't be healed by item boxes it's usually not good idea to leave Vehicle NPC as frontline otherwise they die and enemies cut your dps down, along with any extra credit you could gotten for air raider here, since you can see at beginning Nixes are pretty competent at killing some of that beginning wave on there own.

This stage is a supreme pain on Inferno, especially online.
It might even be considered impossible... but never say never.

The first like was mine, and well this mission is really drained you a lot, i thought about this some days ago that from the structure of the mission and from the name of it, this mission you can paragonate it to the mission in 4.1 called " battle to the death", i mean beacuse in 4.1 in that mission the enemy comes from the sea whit the argo, hectors, and the rest and you have your line of defense on the beach, and here it's quite the same instead that on been on the beach you are in a city, you have your allie on one side of the railroad and the enemy on the other side. Also you said that you love a lot the stampede on the nyx granadier and you said that it' so strong, well in a way you are true unless you are not counting the stampede on the nyx assault from dlc 2, beacuse that stampede it's the most strong among all. There are two type of stampede for nyx the one you used for me it's mostly for single targets like aliens beacuse it dosen't go to much foward and it's quite tight, and then the second it's the one from the nyx destroy cannon that it's the one that shoot those big explosive projectiles that those do extreme damage and that i think it's mostly for hordes of enemy.

I always love a few of these kind of missions. It would be cool to have some huge robots in these missions like 4.1 had, maybe edf6.
