You know I was trying to give it another go with Nereid, but Nereid just isn't good when bees are in level, if you read description on Nereid it says its not very effective vs Airborne enemies. I can tell you exactly why that's case, airborne enemies tend to fly right over your character head or vehicle, and Nereid can't aim upwards, also doesn't help how squishy the Nereid is against bees, just 1 single bee can really mess the vehicle up. At the end of day the Nereid is purely just a support vehicle meant to be used with teammates, it can be rarely useful for getting on top of dropships or buildings too. It does not compare to Eros at all, as Eros is a full on Attack helicopter. Also you said before that anchors spawn multiple variety of enemies but if you pay close attention each anchors spawns more of a specific type. Only 3 of the 6 Anchors spawn bees in, and one of those 3 anchors spawns more bees from it than the rest. Same with other anchors they spawn more of whatever with few other types. I can't make Nereid work here, maybe with a teammate yes, because with teammates you can go over bees as they ignore your helicopter until your last one alive, and NPC can sort of do that but not for long especially with no one else supporting them from ground.

You could always add more restrictions on the other classes.

Okay well I guess I went ahead and did a video only watch if you really don't believe railgun doesn't work. Only 20minutes baby, not too shabby for ranger, sure I guess other classes could beat it in less than 10minutes but its not bad for Ranger I would think.

Still I give you some hints,
1.Shotgun anchors that are real close. the first 2.
    2. Use Long range to your advantage with railgun, 15,000 damage for long range is good when its used in long range.
    3. Reverse shooter NPC, especially Rangers as they follow, don't try to keep them alive for too long, there meant as bait and they will die.
    4. Fencers NPC are not good here, they would be if they did dash and or maybe you made a route going in there direction, however I recommend not going there way unless you have a plan route for it.
    5. Really be aware of entire map, scoute it as wing diver or fencer if you need to, remember whole map is yours to use. Find best angles to hit anchors from, use distance to make enemies take longer to travel to you, only bees can instantly make there way to you and not many of them spawn.
    6. Help the wing diver npc if they look there gonna get overunned, I'm serious about that, it's worth constantly killing things by them, don't just leave them behind, they need to stay close to you unlike the Ranger NPC.
Cough you don't have to try and copy my strategy 100%, its actually a strat I came up with on fly(what I mean by that is I didn't completely examine entire map so maybe there's better spots to fight in,) I don't really have that much experience with this stage I'm sure someone else on internet has maybe found a way to do this better, so what I'm saying you can try like killing different anchors, or making route like going to fencers and defending with them, you could try umm under assist 3 with Shotgun and Fang/ptarmingan/Prominence. I mean if I could tell you if there was other ways to win I would mention as soon as possible and I'm sure there is, but its really hard to come up with something when Slaughter and reverser is just so good for crowd control and you sort of need damage and PT from slaughter to get through annoying things like Red Ants and gammas quickly otherwise there big damage sponge eating too much of your time. Really the stage wouldn't be hard if Ranger by default could use 3 weapons, I'd think you'd beat it right away.

Looking back I think my problem is that I need to not stay in one spot, defend a bit before I use the railgun, and last of all I need move to an edge of the map.
I been trying to do the videos now more as a live stream and thinking out loud so I need to review my past attempts and make changes lol
I appreciate your tips though and I am always impressed at your gameplay. I think I will try to not view your completion strategy and video until I get it though. 😁

Yeah your getting right idea now, one of biggest problems in that stage, is they start you off in the center of all anchors, so what that means is every enemy comes at you from every side and you for sure don't want to stay in center, and ideally want to be on one of edges of map like you said preferably with closest anchor by you dead. It is much easier IMO to shotgun crowds if they are coming at you from only one direction instead of surrounding you.
