As someone who used to be addicted to opiates and heroin, and has had run ins with the police.. this is a joy to watch!! Been clean and sober for almost 4 years now. Met the love of my life at age 25 and have no urges of going back. Im very grateful and lucky i made it out alive cause not everyone is so lucky.
Watching these episodes makes me feel so proud of myself and has made me laugh out loud which is something i haven't done in a while...

I'm currently on subs too. They have helped me tremendously, been on them since 2018.
I hope to one day ween off of them but im terrified of the withdrawals tbh.. Because I've heard both from doctors and friends of mine that methadone and suboxone are some of the hardest withdrawals one can go through.. I hope to one day tackle that but having a job makes it hard.

I grew up around addicts and drunks, the only time my Avenue had peace was when the cops came by to do their job. Most these fools who rag on cops are people who never had to worry at age 9 that their junkie neighbors might your steal bike, or molest your sister.

I know someone who had a court date during winter a few years ago. On his way out of the house (a friend of his was there) he grabbed his friends jacket. He got to the courthouse and they searched him, pulled out a little bag of weed. Got arrested, friend came in and told cops what happened. Dude got let go while his friend went to jail. They live in an illegal state for weed.
Damn that could've been avoided đ but props to the friend for not letting his friend take the wrap

Forgot to add that these guys have been friends for over 15 years. One of their moms was like "it would be cute for them to have matching jackets". So got them matching jackets. That's why there was a mix up. Lmao. And yeah, the friend is a really nice guy and couldn't let someone go down for him.

"I almost fell" reminded me of when I was young and got home drunk and didn't want my mom to notice. She was watching TV on the couch and I had to go past her to get to my bedroom. I went flying trying to balance myself on the way but I had to give her something that was in my room (some ID I don't remember) and I didnt wanna get too close to her so I was behind the other couch and threw it to her but the thing didn't even go 2 feet far and fell so I tried to catch it and almost flipped over the couch LMAO and I was trying to pretend I was fine like "whooa haha" all the while my mom just looking at me with that suspicious/confusion face. I ran back to my room and stayed there until morning lol

I got caught smoking weed when I iived in Fl, and the cop was like 15 ft away and I just dropped the blunt on the ground and smashed into oblivion with my shoe against the concrete. He was pissed but I got let go

Tbh I belong on this list. I got really messed up on Xanax one night and decided to rob a gas station so I could get more. I cut holes in my beanie to make a mask and then went inside and stood in line, this was before masks so it was very obvious what I was their to do but I was so fucked up I still waited in line. Then when I got to the register I told the cashier to give me the money bc I have 6 kids I need to feed, I have no kids.. then I went back to the hotel room where my friends were and I got everyone fucked up that night then someone ratted on me and I went to jail for 5 years.

My ex boyfriend went to the love parade 2010. He carried a backpack with him and in its mesh sides he had an open bottle, for which he lost the lid. We believe someone in the crowed put drugs in it while he was walking to the festival. He collapsed and was taken to the hospital. His brother and sister in law went to look for him and missed the love parade. There were pissed. Later that day, they got the news from the love parade disaster. If my ex boyfriend wasn't targeted and didn't collapse they would have been right in the middle of the disaster and maybe killed or injured...
Sometimes people plant drugs in your drinks and sometimes it can safe your life ;)
