- Filling the DS-160 form correctly is the first step for your visa to be approved. Sometimes how you fill the DS-160 and the information you provide may lead a quick approval or a quick denial of a student’s visa. Being denied the visa is not always about how you answered questions during the interview. It could be traced to your DS-160 form.
Note:
If the name of your school official is on your I-20, state it and don't choose "Do Not Know".

Uploading the photo is not always easy. Check the photo requirements to make sure your matches. Otherwise, you will need to attend the interview with a passport-size photo.

Only one ds-160 confirmation page. If you have some days, you can update the details.
What if one forgets to mention she has work experience in he first ds169 and gets rejected then in the second attempt, would you recommend he adds the work experience ? If yes how can he defend that at the interview.
If she forgot, she can put it there. The VOs are humans and if you are being truthful, they may believe you. You may also want to wait and get a good scholarship before going again if you didn’t have one earlier.

But now she wants to change to a Masters program and this time around her primary sponsors will be her parents. Does it make sense?

If you are working now, you can talk about it. But it should be convincing to the VO.

You need to fill out everything, and have a good reason for doing a second master's

If the loan is more, choose other organization and add details of the institution providing you with the loan
I have been denied visa last month and I want to reapply again. Is it appropriate if I fill in a different work in the new ds160 within this short period?
