Good Stuff mate
Hedge posts -> I like - thats just how youtube works
awesome video :)
I like a few of the strats you do that I don't do often. I rarely get on fast enough after an update to make buy orders quick enough to make them safe enough while not being stuck too far back. Layering with multiple accounts also is something I wish I did.
Honestly bud, I've learned that 'being fast enough' is perfectly fine in most cases.
If you can afford to keep Buy Orders up, you can always wait in the long term.
@@hedgesn I'm talking like 8+ hours late to the party and then I'm worried about the risk on the main items so I go for side ones like patches and stickers. I almost can't believe I never put in buy orders on cases because "they will lose value" when that shouldn't matter much if done well.
Very nice video ! Organized and clean thank you. Got here through a comment on reddit you should send that guy a xmas gift :)
Although i have to disagree when u mention that person 4’s buy order is useless and you should’ve mentioned that if someone sells at 20 it will go to person 4. And because of roundings on currency exange or past trends it can be very usefull to have set a lower buy order later…
Good luck to your channel may 2022 bring u fame and glory
I was mentioned on Reddit? May I ask where?
And I'm sorry but because Person 4 wasn't as fast as Person 3, they won't be able to buy the hat at $20.
In the priority placements (When you compare Person 1,2,3,4) Person 3 has the priority on all hats sold within the range of $15.01-$25.00.
Person 4 will never be able to buy a Hat at $20 until Person 3 fulfils all of their buy order requests, runs out of enough money or deletes the buy order.
So like I said, if Person 4 made that offer for the hat then they will have to wait for quite some time to actually buy anything.
Faster Buy Order = Better Priority.
Currency Exchange is a weird one and the rules to it isn't very definitive as far as I'm aware. I am pretty sure priority position remains but the range of money offered will change in reference to $USD.
In terms of Strategy I would always recommend trying to get the fastest buy order down. Past experience helps when making an offer for certain skins,
so making a fast buy order at a reasonable price will usually always succeed.
Nice stuff
Good one!
okkk let's go hedge, you made it a real thing :D
and more coming quickly hopefully
okay, i'll take it.
nice video
Good video for beginners, but maybe consider switching out ur recording method, the quality is pretty bad, I cant rly read the smaller letters.
Oh yes I'm aware, early on (Chapter 1) it seems I recorded at a low bitrate.
I only really noticed when the video was pretty much wrapped up, but I accepted that the quality was fine for the important parts.
how much time does it needs and how much do you make with doing this?
So the steam market is based on requests & listings. Which would explain the delay of certain trading cards when buying from the "Badge Market Menu" instead of the normal market menu.
Im no expert when it comes to prices but i understand internet communication better,
yup! it places buy orders for you. i don't think it states anywhere, just makes you figure out yourself
Beginner's question, once I made some profit trading, how do I get money out from the wallet?
3rd Party CSGO Sites tend to be the most reliable I assume
Many times I see on the graph that stuff is selling for a higher price than what I have put it up for. Is this happening because of the problem you mentioned as buyer 4? Meaning there is someone else before me who's stuff will be bought first before my turn comes🤔
Have you considered that people might be selling items as multiples?
On steam sales data it groups them up as one purchase, e.g. 2 items sold for $20 (But the individual items were bought for $10 each)
@@hedgesn Multiple items sold at the same price are shown on the graph as "2 items" sold when I hover on the price🤔

@@hedgesn That would be great!
nice thumbnail xD
How many buy orders can you have at once, im a bit worried i might get limited or flagged as a bot
I have several accounts with several hundred buy orders each.
I don’t understand , how to make profit from this ???
I am confused why buy an item when it releases and the price will be very high
Ur not buying when it releases you are putting buy orders when it releases
I'm not buying, I'm offering a 'Buy Order' that is a lower price.
The aim is to buy items at a lower price, with the intention to sell for a nice profit.
Thats basically the general rule with this trading hobby.
hello
meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Sounds like too much work, it is risky and steam takes 5% cut of every transaction and the game makers usually take around 10%. Plus I don't really get the part where you take the money you have earned and put it back in your pocket. Does some one have to buy the whole account off of you?
what the fuck are you talking about
