I love the clothing in this drama. I especially like the purple robe Xian Fei was wearing when she confronted Gao Fei, and Gao Fei’s red dress was gorgeous, too. Plus I liked the pink dresses the seamstresses wore.
If Jixiang had survived, I’m sure that Noble Consort Ling would of never forgot her. But to be who she is at the very end, Jixiang was a sad but essential death in the beginning.

Even Mingy who was awful to her when she first went to the empress but eventually best of friends. Yet she never was close to Erqing. The empress truly loved and understood Yingluo had she lived. Fuheng and Yingluo would have been together.

He was amazed at the change of the emperor with her. If you look at the scenes before empress died she was a stickler for the proper etiquette. She would not eat with him nor would she encourage him to play truancy. Yet after what did Yingluo do she made Yanxi palace a fun place.
All the backstabbing concubines and consorts got rid of the empress but it was also their own undoing never did they think a maid from a poor class would be a threat. The emperor never quite knew until she got pregnant if she had took him into her heart
