I LOVE THIS , tell me ONE other artist who´s performing this close to his audience......Blaze does, and he does it with all of his animal magnetism, his dark, intense and powerful voice, just look at the guys, there´s joy and pure happiness, if there´s anything I regret in my life, it´s NOT seeing Maiden with the outstanding mr. Bayley.....and THAT´S the truth.....
Fantastic performance! Solid awesome band! Solid vocals Blazed! This was one of my favorite songs off the Virtual XI record!!! This sounded so good, you guys were full of energy! Smoking! In Fact! This one was on the setlist the first time I saw Blaze live (Virtual XI tour in 1998) and I saw Blaze and the guys play it this year in Balingen - it seems people either love Maiden's version or hate it, but Blaze + band absolutely rocked it and it was just FUN for everybody in the house. What's not to like about that?

IMO, the original maiden version is an utter craptastrophe that is far too long for what it contains. FFS, the chorus repeats 22 times in the original! Not even pop music has that many chorus repeats!!! But this version is just leaps and bounds ahead of the original. Sure, the slow section in the middle has always bothered me for the fact that it's the same damn thing over and over again. But with the fluctuations in Bayley's voice and the continuous solos, it's made infinitely better.

Love Blaze. His first two solo album after Maiden were amazing, Silicon Messiah and Tenth Dimension. That mark was very good, but this is great too.

The original is one of my favourite Maiden songs! The intro, verses, solos and outro are all awesome. And I'm actually not bothered by the repetition.
