Since discovering the Synthwave genre I think I finally found the music that I was longing for. I has everything - sadness, nostalgia, hope and joy. Utopia and dystopia. It is retro yet also futuristic and relevant nowadays. It always makes me think of deep space travels. Thanks to all artists who create these masterpieces!
ecvent0r I concur with your entire message. This music conveys that exact emotion. A longing for futurism and also a nostalgia for a time long gone. Good day
So perfectly described. Since discovering synthwave, I haven't looked back. Other genres don't give me what I want all in one place.
you expressed all my feelings about synthwave perfectly already, so i can't really say anything else
ecvent0r literally . Same here , i wanna become synthwave producer someday . This music is special , my soul is healing with this
You mustn’t forget that the visuals also help with creating this experience too
This song is like your last summer as a kid before becoming a "man," before being devoured by society and all its schemes, you can feel the sun on your face, no school, no adults, just you, your bike, some videogames and the joy of being free with your last minutes of childhood slipping away like sand from your hands second after second.
Wow!!
You don't need to lose that joy. You can become free with effort and choice, and maintain and increase your emotional depth and mental power
🤦
Incredibly poetic.
Well said!
Thanks so much for the upload, EG! Hope you guys like the track! The album is LIVE now!
Unfound can’t wait
This is a banger
¡Me encantan tus tracks! Si pudiera los escucharía todo el día, gracias por esa nostalgia que me hacen sentir. :)
Congrats!!❤️❤️❤️
Counting down the days
Feels warm and nostalgic just like Home should be.
He’s talking about home like where you were from. Not HOME
feels warm, exactly
dannyzep92 highly underrated comment
Its by Unfound...
@@hullauttttt like where you're from dude not the artist
I think synthwave music is my genre now
There's something special about these city thumbnails man.
They used a Camera for this one.
Japanese and Korean cities hit different 🇯🇵 🇰🇷
I know this is an old comment, but I think the city on the thumbnail is Hakodate, Japan.
The background is *stunning.*
D1ETPUSSY ikr i think its San Francisco
@@K23_23 if you zoom in close enough you can see all the poop and syringes in the street
@@K23_23 nah its Hakodate in Japan.
it really is. For a bit.
In reality though, the people living in that city probably don't get to see the stars very often.
As a person who lives in the country side, I feel bad. It truly is amazing to just look outside and take a breather while looking at the stars.
@@hb.ktw.5510 Exactly. My grandma lives there so I visit often Mt.Hakodate and therefore I knew exactly the view😂
i like to imagine music genres as characters. metal is always the big and overconfident center of attention, jazz is the moral support, pop is the brains, alternative is the wild card. country is the comic relief
and synthwave is the quiet, rational one with the overpowered ability.
I'll always associate this kind of music with a deep, sudden almost visceral yearn to travel far, far away. Nothing quite like it.
Indeed.
I feel exactly the same. As of matter of fact, when I travel, I put on this music. It's magical.
Spot on
BEST SYNTHWAVE OF UNFOUND😁
Wait, which one's the artist and which one's the title?
Eddie it’s me haha
@@UnfoundMusic :0 The legends are true!
Pfff unfound more like FOUND YA
artist comes first, then title
your pfp just fits in with the question lmfao
The background picture is a real place. It's called Hakodate, Japan and this specific picture is a view over the city from Mt.Hakodate. It was once called as one of the three most beautiful scenary in all of Japan.
Any moment now, I’m going to listen to this song for the millionth time. Congrats Unfound, and EG on 1 million views. Well deserved 👏🏼

Do you think you’ve reached it yet
yup, right in the feels.......
While listening to this song I always like to envision that I’m driving on the coast of California while the sun is setting. Specifically the Ventura/Santa Barbara area.
Even though this ain't HOME - Unfound, it still sounds very soothing
It's really cool to see such a clear photo of a city under green mercury vapor lighting, there's not many of those around. Music fits it perfectly
I completely forgot about this song and how amazing and beautiful it is.
I can tell this man has experimented with psychedelics....music like this comes from our true home...it's a reflection of the realm where many of our souls come from. I've travelled there...and I can tell what are the sounds of our "Home."
Which psychedelic's and how to you access? By meditation on LSD? Dmt? ETC.. cheers
@@dontgossiptomebro597 hey man, I tried DMT, ayahuasca, shrooms and Peyote. I'd recommend starting on shrooms. Also deep meditation works very well, but for some it's hard to meditate. You can also try microdosing, that works wonders
@@DigitalEMusicOrig Ah yes I've done shrooms once, was very profound. acid handful of times too. Did you astral project?
I need a mentor for psychedelic journeys. I’m in Atlanta area and currently don’t know anyone.
@Sus-tp9jt I dont do psychedelics but I actually do live near metro atlanta
I cannot express to you the amount of emotions that just fill me with this. This genre is insane and I hope everyone can one day experience these emotions. It's so overwhelming it's nothing like you've ever seen before. I'd love to hear more of this.
How’s your search going?
@@TeChNoWC7 ive somewhat found the emotions i was looking for, but it's more saddening than you might imagine
@@gingeymate try me, I’m here to listen 👍☺️ life truly is a strange journey bro
@@TeChNoWC7 then ill tell you; i found the emotion i was looking for but i discovered i was only feeling it because of loneliness. i felt its warmth only because i would reminisce about the past because i knew the present was cold and lonely. and i still do feel that emotion often but ive worked on defining that feeling as serenity rather than loneliness because it'll remind me of my search for the true me. the feeling has led me to believe that loneliness usually comes to unique individuals, and it wasn't because there was anything wrong with me
this does feel like Home
i still remember the first time i heard this, just when EG posted it…. it’s been 4 years and i still listen to it.
the sense of nostalgia that it gives me is unbeatable by any other. it feels like the something unexplainable… it’s just so nostalgic it feels like everything that was peaceful in life at one point and remember it all dearly.
Nostalgia. I can visualize myself back in that time. it feels like drowning. cant breathe.
the further off in the distance you look the more of your heart the view steals.

Unfound is the artist, not home.
@@HeGzTV but theres an artist called Home or was it Resonance?
Yes there is an artist called "Home". but Home is artist's name and "resonance" is the name of the song@@productivitygod7887
@@HeGzTV thanks for the clarification. Didn't realize Unfound was the artist. Thought it was Home. 🤦♂️ #fail
Unfound should've known better than naming a song the same as the name of the leading artist in the genre
2:15 Explosion of flavours
That's all I need right now ♡.
my third eye for music has opened
For anyone wonder where this is, that city is Hakodate in Hokkaido, Japan
This genre makes me extremely happy to be alive.
This takes me out of reality for 4 mins and takes me to a peaceful place thanks

This channel is a wonderful platform for all these artists to have their music shared on CZcams, thank you EG.
And good day to anyone listening.
Good day to you too, Marc.

A perfect unfound home is my home to take
This is SUCH a vibe. I love it
I listened to this song a lot when I traveled home to send off my grandfather after he passed away. It really stuck and brought back not just a lot of memories but overall feelings of longing I kind of missed. This track is really powerful and really gets me relaxed when I need it.
1:15 my favorite part. I can't put that feeling into words 😭
I love the subtlety of this song
Starting 2019 on the right foot with these awesome songs. Thanks!! ❤
I drove across America on synthwave... Its top!
This made my day
If you’re reading this & battling depression, just know it’s ok to cry. It’s ok to isolate yourself for long periods of time. It’s ok to be weak. It’s ok to have complete anxiety when someone texts you and you don’t want to text back. But it’s not ok to give up and it’s not ok to lose hope. You are special and I love you and I strongly believe every one of us will overcome this darkness and find happiness.
Well said brother. I believe it too, though the struggle is every day.
💯🙏🏽🌎✨⭐️💨🌌🌊🌊💚♥️
Its not about ok. Sure, do those things. But isolation just leads to madness - a breeding ground for weakness. Its not about ok.. The weak just die, simple. Its irresponsible to be weak. The strong live. If you arent gonna take a stand you dont deserve to live according to the laws of nature.Dont waste your life away telling yourself its okay. Get angry at yourself. Look for excuses youre making and stop feeling sorry for yourself. Thats how you face your fears and anxiety and learn to be a part of the world instead of a reclusive sap who looks gor meaningless connections with lack luster attempts at uplifting others to feel like you are.
@@theworldlywarrior Very good advice man. Though I dare to say that's only theory. Tell me, have you fought depression yourself? Even though your advice is realistic, and based on facts and logic, and I'm sure most people with depression can understand that, when you are facing depression, you don't feel like doing anything. For God's sake, even getting out of bed is a tremendous pain in the ass. How can you feel like wanting to do anything else but feel sorry about yourself and mad at your own inability to do anything remotely good to help yourself? and how to cope with failing tries without going back to the depression hole again? In practice is not easy at all. Man, I keep trying and trying and sometimes it seems like there's no other way but going backwards. It's so frustrating and annoying and most of the time I'm in bad mood and that just makes people not wanting to be near me and that keeps me lonely and sad, and yet again I'm here in the fucking same place where everything started. And then, to top it all, if you have another mental illness, you are more than fucked up, you can even wonder why you are still alive. Tell me man, have you felt like that before?
I thank you though for trying to help people like us man. Have a nice day.
@Jordan Siles Amen❤️
Been looking for this forever
This music is my drug
Edit: just listened to it omg it's amazing
Gotta love how positive and dreamer you can be after listening to this piece.
I've been listening to this genre for a while and I've really loved it. When I first met him, then I decided that it was the genre to which I would dedicate my time, and it is now in the genre that I am developing little by little ...
Now that I come back, I realise this gem is one of the first ones that I heard in the synthwave genre.
Next upload should be HOME - Unfound
I GOT CHILLS GOING THRU MY BODY
I just love Home so much
And another masterpiece from Unfound, that's a very good one !
I thought this was a HOME song at first glance, still i'm not disappointed.
What an amazing picture to go with the song. Another *Gem* from Unfound!
Feeling so calm
This is actually amazing. I love the background to this vid a lot. Reminds me of a late night Miami 1980's.
WOW the intro sent chills down my spine
This dude is producing amazing nostalgic powerful sounds. I salute you
It's the best track of 2019 so far.
I know they're just sounds but the thoughts this brings up 🥺
函館の夜景だ
This is the night view of Hakodate
This song grew on me last year and I still listen to it every now and then!
There is so much scientific interest here.
Why do these particular tones and frequencies evoke such a strong mental reaction?
It's not like the typical dopamine response from music you like, it's nostalgic, and kindve calming.
Wonder if only certain personality types feel this
Maybes it's tones of the universe, the right ones to make us in sync with equilibrium of space and time, thus giving ourselves inner peace and acceptance .....
Or
I'M talking complete bollony.. 😃
The synthesizers
psychadelic adventurer by any chance? either in this comment section or somewhere else where I saw this song posted, I saw another user mentioning how "unfound has to have done psychadelics before, i've been there and he truly brings the sounds from that home i know well" or something along those lines. could very well just be very very talented but never know!
*This is gorgeous. Gives me Interstellar vibes.*
Now this is something special.
We all have our home waiting for us... Just wait..
This is superb, best Synthwave tune I've heard in a long time!
Check out 'With You' by Hotel Pools, that one is absolutely beautiful.
There's no gem like HOME
amazing track!
Man its like you just wanna keep walking around the Earth while listening to this channel.. Great track btw!
this is the perfect song to listen to in the car
If someone is interested, the city that is shown in the image is Hakodate, in Hokkaido Island, Japan.
Amazing Electronic Gem. Feels like "Love theme" Barry White. Great work!
Never fail to impress me
I love the music on this channel!

Thank you Electronic Gems for this amazing track!
I don’t remember this have 1 million, or I’m stupid, congratulations
This is what motivates me in the morning or when I’m just not doing anything I go over to eg and listen to a playlist go for a run with earbuds keep it up!
chill wave at its best. timeless melody
HOME is an amazing vapor wave artist.
He sure is, I think you've got your title a bit mixed up though 😁
1. The artist is Unfound, not HOME
And, 2. This is chillwave/chillsynth, a subgenre of synthwave, vaporwave is 90s aestethic and is a different music genre :)
this is what you hear when you come home after a long day but knowning it was a good day
When you realize that the song could also be Unfound by HOME... ;)

I can listen to this forever😊
The background image is the view from Mount Hakodate, in Hokkaido, Japan. At night, the view is absolutely spectacular. The more you know!
Now I want Home - Unfound
COME ON WHAT A TUNE
I mean can it get any more chill than this??!
Feels a little like Midnight city
NYC ice cold in the sunset city... Neon heues passing me by...
I think Unfound could pull off doing a soundtrack for a AAA game company, easily. They’re already amazing on their own.
I think you've got your title a bit mixed up 🤔
I think you’re right, thanks mate 😋
A perfect way to enjoy my Sunday morning ☕👌👌👌
LOOOOL i thought it was a HOME song, but still a nice track!

It's always a pleasure to see a notification from Electronic Gems. I was purposefully holding off listening to this the whole day until I got home so I could hook up my headphones and listen to this the way it was SUPPOSED to be listened to.
