Thank u for the video. Do I need to drain the overflow reservoir? Also can I use the regular coolant used for cars?

Is doing a coolant flush as simple as filling from the radiator with the drain bolt removed? Anything else I need to consider? Thanks!

Do you know the suzuki oem part number for that drain screw? I have a Gen 3 SV650. Was looking on partzilla and can’t figure it out

If I'm seeing correctly, 1 gallon of pre-mixed distilled water and water wetter is enough for the job? I'm doing a track day in May and want to bring some with me in case I don't pass tech with my current coolant. I'm not sure what's in my bike but the track organization says, "Only Advanced class riders must change from antifreeze to water. Engine Ice and Evans Coolant are NOT permitted!" I'm not sure if that means there are other coolants I need to use or if I'm ok with whatever coolant I have since I'm not in the advanced class switching out to water.

Is there an easy way to remove the reservoir? I have to replace the tube that runs from the top of the radiator to the reservoir

Hey man. I have a question. I have a 2002 SV650 and I just change the oil and when I start the bike the oil level get down to empty and after a few minutes after I stop the bike the oil level go up again to the correct level. Do you know if this is normal o what?

  • @TheBlackHandElite

Is there any way to check the coolant level, by checking the overflow reservoir for instance? When would you normally know when your coolant is bad or too low?

  • @blakav3lli

Hi! Do I need to replace the coolant from the reservoir?
