KENWIN. JURASSIC. PARK. THE. MOVIE
GIGANOTOSAURUS: Hello 👋
"Nobody move. We'll wait until it's right in front of us, then slowly creep around the car while it's casually staring at us and following us like it's playing some kind of game"
😂
I guess they had those sharp teeths to scratch their butts 🤔
Unlike all the other ones who where all chasing after there food the giga was just acting like he was on a stroll through the supermarket selecting his supper
Dude is window shopping
Apparently, it's also the blindest carnivore the world has ever seen.
Tyrannosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Carnotaurus were all once thought to be blind to lack of movement. Now, science indicates the first two at least may have had the best eyesight out of every other land carnivore dinosaur that existed...and that has been known since at least 2018. Kind of shows where the director decided to not do the proper research.
@@Tigressa101It’s because some areas of their brains were the same shape as a frog who was thought to only see on movement… but it turns out the frog can see generally anyway 😂
A T Rex had the largest eyeball of any land animal that ever lived.
It likely could see better than any living animal!
@@Tigressa101 Literally everything ever about the JW Giga is wrong, not just the eyesight lol
It’s almost like bro wants to know what he’s eating. He’s not stupid
@@Tigressa101 they had the Best eyesight but didn't saw the asteroid coming 🤣
That slow-ass turn when they all scurried behind the car...wtf were they thinking making this?
Callback to the first Jurassic park
*Nothing is thicker than the plot armor of the JP franchise.*
Bryce Dallas Howard might come close
@@crashbandi-cody6782 thats thicc
You meant JW franchise. People are actually dying in JP franchise & not just the villains
It’s very weird when there’s a lot of major characters in one shot
THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one who thought this. It's so forced and cringey.
The most passive-aggressive carnovore the world has ever seen 😂
Hey let’s Make the apex predator slow and stupid and then match him up against the ultimate plot armor! That’ll make a great scene!
After millions of years of evolution to hunt and kill this giga was just walking around slow and open its mouth slow. It expect the food to walk into his mouth. What an amazing director. and really clever directing these movies. This whole trilogy could be a project from a college student that has never done anything movie related before.
I can just feel the anger seething in this comment hahaha. Exactly how I felt watching this horseshit of a film. Never felt personally offended by a movie before
I thought the first Jurassic world was at least decent but the other two were trash.
@@thatboylije7892 the first JW was genuinely really awesome. The only issue was that the CGI looked shoddy and the kids were annoying and pointless but other than that it was a really entertaining, well made typical summer blockbuster. Had alot of fun with it. Knew exactly what it was and executed it very well. The rest of the trilogy was unimaginably abysmal. After FK I went into dominion going no way they can possibly make a worse jurassic movie than FK. And now dominion is up there with the worst movies Ive ever seen in my life
@@asadelh.28 The CGI could look a lot better in countless films, and if anything, it's generally gotten worse since the early 2010s. That's because studios have VFX studios work for a set "bid" amount before starting, and it stays that way, no matter the hours it takes - but because CGI is infinitely tweakable and there's an increasing trend of plots being changed/rewritten as filming goes along, directors will want to change or rework things sometimes drastically, which leads to VFX artists being crunched with insane 100 hour workweeks, etc., all while getting lowballed in the process. It's also made the VFX business not really sustainable: the VFX studio that won Oscars for "The Life of Pi" actually had filed for bankruptcy shortly before winning.
So, basically, tons of movies over the last decade could've looked a lot better, but because of cheap studios and a bad system - they look worse sometimes than in the 2000s in the early 2020s, lol. It's one reason they're unionizing and good for them.
@@asadelh.28 at least the adults werent clueless
2:25 I like to think of this scene as Ian’s redemption with his failed flare distraction from Jurassic park
Cheap nostalgia berry.
*characters completely exposed and out in the open*
Dinosaur: imma stare at them menacingly
*climbing a latter that takes some force to pry open*
Dinosaur: aight, now imma eat them *fails miserably*
The plot armor on these characters is laughably stupid 🤣
add in random black woman who had no reason to exist in the film yet diversity quota
Latter? What’s a latter??
I know this scene has a lot of problems, but one thing I did like was Ian using the branch on fire and throwing it into its mouth. Badass 🙌
That part of the scene sticks with me, so badass😎
Giganotosaurus the slowest dinosaur the world has ever seen 😂
0:12 It was at this moment that Owen, Alan, Claire, Ellie, Ian, Kayla & Maisie had realized. . . they had been caught!
0:30 "He followed us!"
0:42 He's mad!
0:56 "No reason to be afraid, strange creatures."
3:32 He's FURIOUS!
This fine gentleman is a perfect example of not being the antagonist but just doing what it's supposed to do. Heard the commotion and went to investigate. He saw the humans probably as a threat because they were in his territory. He was just territorial
If that’s the case why didn’t he attack them straight away? They were right in his line of sight even as they were behind the car
Lol Allan's face at 0:16 when him and Owen both say "don't move" he's like "bruh"
Such a lazy trope
@@daniellowry660 Just like this movie. This whole scene had nothing but jp1 and jp3 references.
0:14
Ruunnnnnnnnnnnnn.
This dinosaur had the IQ level of every bad guy Roman had to fight in Fast & The Furious.
Giga: "Please... you've got to help me! I've swallowed an entire box of sound effects!"
If that was Ark's Giganotosaurus, none would had survive.
True man 😂
I didn’t see this in theaters, just seeing this clip now. I am SOOO glad I didn’t go watch it. This is LAUGHABLE
Right. In the first movie, I was horrified and on the edge of my seat when the dinosaur got out, this is doing literally nothing for me
😂
Why?
1:20 these people aren't even hiding 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah, definitely. This is the dumbest scene of the dumbest movie in the dumbiest trilogy.
@@DonatoColangeloNo no, one can make a solid argument Owen choke-holding Dilophosaurus like it was a WWE match was dumber
Ya it's just a movie 😂😂
@@rahulbhatia2649 a very dumb movie
When you heard the rumbling, you should have already been moving and hiding
Gigantosaurus looks small ASF compared to jp3 spinosaurus when the spinosaurus ran out of the trees it looked like a 40ft monster.
Spinosaurus was longer. I think T-rex of shorter than both, but heavier.
@@dillianwhyte443you are correct The T.rex was shorter than the Giganotosaurus and the Spinosaurus
@@Tyrannosaurus1993 But much heavier and more powerful. In reality if The T. Rex had lived in the same time and place with the Giganotosaurus or the Spinosaurus, the T. Rex would annihilated either one of them.
Spinosaurus is thought to have maxed out at 22 tons easily outweigh either the T-Rex or the Giganotosaurus
@@classicgalactica5879 Actually the trex would lose against gigantosaurus because there pack hunters not solo hunters but if there was a random 1v1 the trex may win but it's also going to die from bloodloss so technically there even.
Essa rugida que ele dá do lado do carro 🔥
Grant you literally came face to face with a spino before the gig is small compared to that
Ok, look I'm a big dinosaur fan and Giganotosaurus was the first one that I fell in love with as a kid.
I realize that the Jurassic park movies made their dinosaurs more monster themed and in universe they even give the canon reason that the dinosaurs don't look exactly like the actual dinosaurs would, but how is THAT a Giga? It looks nothing like the real Giga, the real one has the famous face crest IN FRONT of the eye, not over it. It also isn't supposed to have spikes running down the back. The fossils show a perfectly flat or rounded spinal cord with no spikes or possible protrusions. Now, in universe, it's because of spliced DNA but, how does Grant know it's a Giga, when if you compare them side by side, they look like two different dinosaurs. The only possible explaination is that Grant is using his knowledge of how big Giga's are compared to other dinosaurs but, whose to say that if you splice some animal into a, I don't know, Tyrannotitan, it wouldn't get bigger. A Tyrannotitan by the way, is most commonly depicted as having head spikes like this Giganotosaurus has.
It just bugs me a little when movies make these types of mistakes that should have been caught and could have easily been fixed with a small script change or better yet, they could have made call the dinosaurs their own names like they did with the Indominous Rex. If they decided to just go full Frankenstein and start making their own animals with their own names, and their own distinct looks, they could have done so much better.
When Jurassic Park 3 released after seeing the spinosaurus my friend laughed and said “so what’s gonna be in the next movie: the Giganticsaurus?”
What was his reaction to the Giga
@@astrothehedgehog16 Not sure. I haven’t seen or heard from him in 16 years. If he saw it I’m sure he laughed at this one too.
2:32 Ian Freeze!!
One of the best scenes in the movie. Nice that we let other giant theropod dinosaurs to appear more in our popular culture
While I believe the Giga would've attacked if they were an easy quick snack, I think it more than likely would've saved its energy for larger more sustainable prey.
Even if it was true about the don't move. That thing could probably smell you a mile away
I was just watching this scene thinking “I’m so glad I didn’t bother watching this” and then I realised I actually had watched the whole thing, I just couldn’t remember.
I love it how they see a dinosaur and have time to say the biggest of them all and the name of it 😂.And I love it how they’ve been chased around by dinos and nearly eating alive a 100 times and act surprised when a dino comes near them
It's not the biggest, unfortunately these movies aren't accurate when it comes to dinos. x.x
@@doomguy5815 you should write to them and sue them for false advertisement
@doomguy5815 tf you mean not the biggest, historically speaking Gignotasaurus was the largest Carnivore ever discovered.
Now, yes, there are dinosaurs who were larger, but they are not Carnivores. Titanosaurus is the largest dinosaur to every exsist, and scientists aren't even 100% sure of its existence.
You weren't alive chillin' with the Dinosaurs pal, look at the historical evidence, not your head canon.
@@doomguy5815 And who is to blame? Discoveries and science is constantly changing and some of those same people get egotistical and upset about certain changes.
@@st4rw4rs4ulesyt go get some research
trex name Scotty is the largest Carnivore right now while gigan with the recent research is a little bit smaller
Why didn't the grandmaster call his champion or lord of thunder to takeout the giganatosauraus? 😅
Or Star-Lord to fight off giganotosaurus 😂😂😂
I felt sorry for the Giganotosaurus. Didn't evne feel like a villain, wasn't even a threat or put any pressure on our protagonists. Was more or less just an animal trying to survive.
Too bad the director went and called it the joker :/
Why do these movies make it seem like dinosaurs had no sense of smell and you could just stand still and it wouldn't know you were right in front of its face?
Giga is just curious and territorial here, so it is realistic but this makes an underwhelming scene.
This had to be one of the most stupidest scenes in my opinion, like in all of the other movies, it has this one specific scene where you feel this life and death situation playing out , thinking that someone is going to die or barely make it out alive , but in here, they tried to make that scene but just couldn’t put in enough effort to make it feel like a life and death situation
The dinosaur was an afterthought. For some reason they thought the meeting of the past and present characters was going to be enough. It wasn’t. I’ve given up on franchises that rely on “I understand that reference”
Such a lazy movie. I thought there was no way the 3rd Jurassic world could be worse than fallen kingdom but I guess I was wrong
@@jackpackage4278 Naw Man Fallen Kingdom was Awesome You Just Over hating on it because of the Indoraptor and Cuz Of A Stupid Brachiosaurus Dyin

The fact that this dinosaur is labeled as a “villain.” Like I don’t even need to say more
The Giga was the the few dinosaurs that didn't deserve to die, it wasn't a villain just a Alpha predator put in a badly handled environment.
No just a bully
@@TheMtVernonKid do you actually believe that?
You spelled "badly handled movie" wrong.

How did they all go up the ladder so fast, when Giga only just took the cage out of his mouth, he just let them go.
0:27 The filmmakers don't know how much any animal fears fire.
0:49 And yes, he consumes flying, small, burning food immediately, but it will be pointless to cut circles around the larger and non-burning food standing in front of him on the ground, patiently waiting for it to be safe.
Etheir that buring bug is the most notorious meal in the world or the writers were lazy...
...I think we both know the answer
Terrible movie and terrible scene. They tried to cram all of the iconic scene throwbacks from the first movie into this one and just made it awkward and forced. On top of that wtf the dinosaur sees them and then they all just hide behind a car like wtf.

I like how clair tazed its eye lol
@JadenThecoolkid2023 lol yeah man I guess the giga was Like OWWW U TAZED MY EYE HOW DARE U CRAZY LADY lol
giga's be like : oh, thats not on the script, im outta here
Unfortunately, the giga does not live up to its ark counterpart here.
I think that the Giganotosaurus did see them. It merely gave them a headstart simply because it enjoys the hunt. It likes to intimidate its prey first before attacking.
I've never met such a passive aggressive carnivorous dinosaur in my life.
0:41 Giganotosaurus roars
2:49 Burning locusts = flamethrower.
I feel like the indominus is the true joker
For me it was the indoraptor
Well Indominus is female it should be Harley Quinn
0:27 I bet giganotosaurus enjoy eating the cooking locusts.
This scene making me so sad all the time i watch it. This scene had so much potential to be a really great attack scene, like make us scared to loose one of the characters.
But the way they make act the Giga, and with the random cup and ZERO tension moment the all scene is boring.
The only moment we start to have tension is with Mazi in the scale but after that back to boring
Originally this was a scene where Owen was locked outside of the research outpost with Giga stalking him and the team needed to find a key for the door or something.
But something clearly went wrong with this film either on producer/studio side or Mr Trevorrow’s
Cool
Why is it in these movies that everyone stands still when carnivorous Dinosaur appears?
It's terrible 😂
Instead of having reference galore of all the previous Jurassic park movies, why not have a good compelling scene?
Crazy how bad this movie was lol. Even though it had so much to work with
It’s like missing a lay up
If you don't know how to run, you can miss a lay up
I enjoyed Giganotosaurus from Dino Crisis 2 game more than here🤷🏻♂️
The original Trilogy, you'll get 7 characters coming into the Movie, and 3 characters getting out. It always felt as if any of them could die at any Moment.
Even the 3rd Instalment, they had a Whole Family coming through

Feels like the Dino is a new actor who is way too worried he might hurt the stars of the sjow
I don’t know why people hate this movie, I know why they think the Dino not being able to see them when it’s looking at them is stupid but it’s genuinely a good movie
Was the damn thing blind?? Lol😅
3:04 At that moment we see Alan support the weight of Ian Malcom with one arm, considering Alan is a gentleman, even if he was young and strong, it is not easy to support a weight of around 90 kilos , a person with preparation for this kind of thing, even if they can lift Ian Malcom, the person may have an injury to the shoulder, as it fell completely, this increases the weight, and Alan was able to bear it Ian's weight, along with the increased weight due to the fall.
Go go go go
I wish Jurassic World would've followed Ark Survival Evolved model of the Giga more!
I think this is the scene that finally made me shout FFS what are we watching here! Just utter tripe…..
0:41 Am I the only one who thinks the Giganotosaurus' roar sounds like the Giganotosaurus from the first Jurassic world evolution?
0:41 yes it’s the same one

Was a great dinosaur, if just CT don't named it as 'A Joker Dinosaur'
And then he tries to gaslight everyone by claiming that he was referring to how it looks. Disregarding the fact that he specified “wants to watch the world burn”. That’s when I lost what little respect I still had for Colin.
For those who say that this dinosaur must be the stupidest. I'm not sure that's the case. At first I thought that the case. However, after thinking it through a bit.
I have a few theories:
1. Because of its size, maybe it has somewhat of the confidence of knowing not many animals can ever fully challenge him/her.
2. It's probably never encountered something like humans before and is maybe somewhat unsure of how to react, even a lion that's learning to hunt, hasn't encountered all potential prey.
Also with Alan and Owen saying don't nove. Not really anything to do with its eyesight, more like don't do anything to trigger its predatory instincts to chase immediately, just stand your ground so to keep calm and prevent a tragedy occurring so suddenly.
Just my thought.
Predators don't attack everything in sight, and as ya said, Giga has probably never seen humans before. He was likely roaring and growling to make them leave his territory, and when they didn't, that's when he attacked.
First time I saw Giga, he seemed to act like any ordinary predator as far as I was concerned, but the internet and the film community being what it is, I don't share my views to save meself the antagonistic messages and such that follows.
So eh, will share here for once I suppose.
The experience of getting metal off the mountains in Ark…..
They made this look like "The most NPC dinosaur the earth has ever seen😂"
they succeeded to make the Giganotosaurus look absolute dumass 💯
Was there any potential for the Giganotosaurus to be a 'major' threat in this 'unbalanced' movie???
