Great review. I agree with most of your results. We use ours 50-60 days a year, and set up/tear down about 2/3 of those. One weak spot is the grommet on the nylon at the center. This popped on ours, which allowed the fabric to separate from the spider. What's normally a 60 second setup became 30 minutes! I was able to fix it with a fender washer, and doubt it'll ever break again. Another 'weak spot is that the bag does not hold up if you are constantly loading/unloading it on concrete. I'll replace ours sometime this year (just wear and tear). If you only set it up on grass, this probably isn't an issue. Love the walls. We have 5 of them, and in spring/fall/rain, they make a huge difference!

I bought the CLAM based on this review (and your other one). I hate it.
I received it today and followed the instructions and ended up getting it completely inside out. Support wanted me TO REMOVE EVERY SINGLE ROD, place the tent over the ladder and then reassemble the entire thing. They acted like this happens all the time and it wasn't a big deal (the tent is huge, there are tons of rods. It's a huge deal).
On top of that the quality is questionable at best. I didn't have it long enough before i gave up and sent it back, but there was a lot of loose stiching on the tent and in the carrier so I am amazed yours has lasted so long.
The only thing I can think of is they don't make them like they used to. I feel like I would be better off getting a cheaper chineese made one for less with the same quality.
Anyone else looking at this based on this review, beware. It's not all rainbows.

We have had our large clam since 2018 and love it. It has a small hole in the top that we need to repair but it has been awesome for us. We have sold our camper and are back to tent camping and I have decided that we are gonna try to put our tent inside the clam to have some added rain protection. It always rains on us and we never cancel our trips due to rain chances. Thanks for the review. We agree to the ease of this item and how wonderful it is. We have been in some great storms in this and it's still here. GO CLAM GO!!

That is a valid concern. We live in the NW and have had ours in some pretty rough weather including down pours and high winds. It’s very similar to a tent so can withstand probably about the same amount. We try and make sure we set it up with something providing a little wind buffering like our trailer or a tree. Never had any real issue but if you are pushing 25+ consistently then I would try and find another option.
