- Anthem comes from a collection of short marimba solos entitled Song Book, Vol. 1. For more info on my music or to purchase sheet music, visit IvanDrums.com.
This was recorded at my home in my music space, played on an MJB Malletech marimba. - Hudba
This composer is so talented, I can't even begin to describe it. I've listened to so many of his pieces, and he gives me the drive I need to finish my degree in music Ed. If you're reading this Ivan Trevino, know that you've made someone's life (and probably hundreds of others) very fulfilling.
Ivan, I want to say that i recently bought your Catching Shadows duet and i can't stop listening to all of your compositions, i literally have your channel saved as quick access on my phone. Just really nice work and I love the music you are making.
Thank you so much Ivan for being the inspiration you are. I love coming onto CZcams and watching you play. You have a very unique and fun way of looking at and composing music. Always looking forward to your wonderful talent!!!!
It took me forever to find it i couldn't forget it thank you
this is an awesome song I just love it.
This is beautiful
I love the sound of your marimba compositions!!! totally unique to yourself, I'm looking forward to your work in the future.
thank you David!
It's incredible Ivan)) Gj :D
You're great, Ivan! :)
thx for watching sara!
i was at a percussion clinic with the percussion professor from uncg and he played this and i immediately fell in love. He played it with such musicality and flow it was great and so is this song!
I think i was at the same clinic. What week were you there?
Ethan Styll uhm the second week
You played this for us a year ago at the college percussionist camp
Banger bruh
Just bought the book! Now it's time to buy a five octave... Sike
Great composition of yours! #ValleyDayOfPercussion
+Viatrax Thomas Burritt definitely did this song justice. Love listening to it all the time.
+Ethan Hight Yeah it sounded pretty good when Burritt played it.
I wanna learn that so bad
Can this only be played on a 5 octave? My school has a 4.6 octave but it looks like a lot of fun to play
Such a great groove to this piece, I'd love to learn it, but sadly I don't have regular access to a 5 octave :(
+Adam Kaleta now you do
I don't have access to one either, so I'm just arranging it for a 4.3 octave marimba and switching it over if/when I have access to a 5 octave. I did it for Into the Air, and I think its a worthwhile endeavor.
which mallets are those?
+Varun Bojji I believe they are his signature mallets from Malletech. IT13 is the model I think.
Ivan, I was wondering if there was a way to buy Anthem without buying the whole book that it comes in. Is that an option?
Hey Ike! Unfortunately, the piece is only avail as part of the collection. I'm sorry if that's a bummer! The other tunes are fun too and I think you'd dig them. Thanks for the comment!
