- In this video, we explore the famous Tulip Garden of Srinagar, Kashmir (India) during the Tulip festival, 2021. We also get to see a glimpse of the beautiful Botanical Garden of Srinagar which is adjacent to the Tulip Garden.
The tulip garden of Kashmir valley is the largest tulip garden in Asia. It was opened in 2007 to boost floriculture and tourism in Kashmir Valley. A large number of tourists visit the garden to catch the glimpse of beautiful tulips seen in full bloom. It is one of the most beautiful gardens of Kashmir. Earlier known as the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip garden, it is one of the largest tulip garden in Asia which spreads over an area of 30 hectares.
Situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range, the garden provides spectacular views to any nature lover. Apart from tulips, many other species of flowers can be seen in the garden.
Tulip Festival is an annual celebration that aims to showcase the range of flowers in the garden as a part of tourism efforts by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. It is organized during the onset of the spring season in the Kashmir valley.

If you want to see tulips you should visit in months of april and may
What is the best time to visit the garden for full blown
March-April are good months to see tulips!

We visited in the first week of April 2021
Will it be open in August?
@@nsdfreak1624 the garden will be open but you will not find the tulips. You will find other flowers during that month. If you want to see tulips you will have visit in the months of april and may.
it opens for 1 and a half month..opens at the end of march
