I almost cried at how wonderfully EMF this is! It sounds fresh but also dipped in that 90s EMF vibe.
I'm a little bit confused by the shopping shipping costs, if i add the cd single and the white emf t-shirt to the cart, it's £8 shipping, but the cd bundled with a tshirt is £5 shipping. Ah well, I'm not doing so well financially anyway right now 😭

That Stephen Fry, eh? He's literally everywhere! (Which is no bad thing.) And E.M.F.? Everything sounds in fine working order, especially James' voice. One of the great voices in indie music history. A timely song that has reminiscences of 'Children' in its flow. 👌
Stephen Fry has been an EMF fan since the early 90's. He talked about them in an interview with Clive Anderson 30+ years ago.

I think your comment is a bit of a reflection of the age we're living in: back when UB40 were in their prime, they did a song called "One In Ten", which was a protest against the heartless treatment of marginalised minorities. It was a huge hit, and any thoughts about 'virtue signalling' didn't even come into it.

I understand the message that the band is trying to get across about prejudice and biases (for the record, I am a Jew married to a half-black immigrant from South America with a green card), but I don't believe in open borders and letting just anyone into your country without being vetted.
Skin color really has nothing to do with it. A lot of people will just cry "racism" if you don't agree with your country being flooded with people that don't "knock at the door" before coming in. Of course, you're welcome here, just let us know who you are first.
