- In this video we have tried to show.. the carburetor setting for yamaha RX 100, 135, RXG & YBK... just to full fill the commitment to our viewer's... :-))

Thanks for this video.To addition this, Please observe Before setting the carburetor
1.Engine to be warm up for a while otherwise settings will not be good as the piston and piston rings, cylinder are not operation temperature and will not be in good compression state.
2. Yamaha RX100 mikuni carburetor settings are 1 1/4 +/- 1/2 turns.you have to follow these limited values for better running/pickup of the engine.
3.while turning air fuel mixture screw , just turn 1/4th and wait for at least 20 to 30 seconds step by step to work out.For better results Do not turn it immediately as the fuel mixture will not cope up .
4.Where at the point of turn if engine try to reach higher RPM it will be the best position and also ensure if you turn more and observe nothing increase in RPM then you have to keep the lowest turns.
5.Idling must be hard enough and bike must not be dying state................

Hey my friend I have the same carburetor on my Yamaha lt2 100 and it won’t run correctly at full throttle and bigs down I am trying to tune it what are the setting you are using for that carburetor, ie how many turns left or right on the air and fuel mixture screws I finally have it running and cranking first kick but it bogs down at full throttle
Nice video... i hav a problem in my rx135. It runs good for like 2 or 3 minutes max. Then engine stalls.
After 10 mins its not starting at all but once it cools down it does.
Any idea why...?

Hello sir I have 88 model RX 100 and I have g2 1mm and g4 STD cylinder kit . the g2 1mm fuel mileage pl is 32-35 and g4 STD 42-44 giving petrol mileage and top speed of g2 85kmph and g4std is 115 kmph ? Please answer me what is the different

Please request you to suggest me the best tyre which can offer the best road grip/traction both in dry and wet conditions as well for YAMAHA RX100 .
Required the following:
a) good stability in higher speeds
b) better for cornering
c) no skids during braking
d) frequent usage for city commuting and highway riding

My friend has 1991 Year model RX 100. I am planning to buy this bike. Can you please clarify following points.
1) 1991 model RX 100 is CKD which is CKD and made in Japan and directly imported to Chennai
2) If NO then from which year till when RX100 was made in Japan.

nahi ek lmit hoti hy jis per wo sabsy zyada mileage deta hy.

This video about the carburetor tuning on Yamaha RX series is not satisfactory because of the following reasons are:-
1.The person (Anchor) on the video has only theory knowledge. Practically NULL.
2. He did not warm up the engine.
3 He did not use appropriate Screw driver for Air jet screw and for Slide Adjuster screw.
4. While he was tuning he was not confident and he did not tuned 100% accuracy.
5 His way of tuning the carburetor was in correct. As air and fuel mixture got in correct tuned the motorcycle sounds it self explains.
6. He just made this video for fun.
My Idea i input.
To tune a carburetor it is better we clean first and do the service of the carburetor by checking all internal parts so as the slide/pilot jet/main jet/needle/float/main valve etc.
After cleaning the carburetor than better we close the carburetor as it was- after adjusting the float n needle main valve.
Fit the carburetor on the intake of the cylinder Block.
Start the bike engine by pulling the choke plunger. (But Check Carburetor so that does not overflow fuel)
Warm the engine for some time.
Once the engine is warm up than adjust the air jet screw and the slide screw with a proper appropriate screw driver to best accuracy results to air-mix and fuel simultaneously. The Air jet screw in RX series 2.5 turn round anti clockwise is almost accurate than adjust the Slide screw. But do slowly once the engine revs high with RPM than idle slowly the slide screw too. sir i am using rxg 135 and i have installed new carbeaurator but after some time iska milage bahot worst ho gya smjh nhi aa rha kibproblem kaha pe h .Carbeaurator bhibekdm new tha.
