I think the increase in food cost and the hypothetical expansion of workforce in Le Havre could be accounting for the staff occupying the buildings you purchase, which would in turn account for why additional actions aren't acquired. It would be interesting if the game implemented this mechanically using some kind of buildings-to-food ratio as opposed to a static, ever-increasing value. Still one of my favorite games.
Just played glassroad, le havre and agricola so far. Appreciate them all, a lot, and really looking forward to play all the big boxes. Nusfjord was not on my radar though, mistake corrected!
@@NightsAroundaTable It’s the solo part that caught my attention, playing the game in a row going through the all deck of buildings sounds really fun. And I like the fact it shares some similarities with glassroad as well.

Another great vid. Mine are: Caverna, patchwork, fields of arle, nusfjord and agricola creatures great and small. My wife and I struggle to enjoy normal agricola...and she can't get into le havre, so won't let me play =(
Hard to rank a lot of them. #1 for sure ora et labora. #2 fields of arle. I also like caverna more than Agricola, unpopular as that may be. Feast for odin doesn't crack my top 5 uwe games
@@NightsAroundaTable high bar! I'm not big on Agricola or feast for odin because they feel like you're removing penalties rather than getting points / rewards, ya know? And not a fan of dice in my euros, haha. Ora et labora is such a masterpiece in my eyes, probably a top 5 overall game , regardless of designer
I've played Agricola, Caverna and A Feast for Odin so far... Own Caverna, it's the one I like the most.
