This guy is my hero...100% got me through undergrad science classes. I joke that I went to the University of CZcams because excellent online content like this is so much more helpful than many of the lectures and TA's were. Such a talented teacher. I love that he doesn't dumb it down, isn't afraid of detail, but breaks it down into digestible pieces that make sense.

in all those other videos that i watched about lineweaver they used to clean the plot to explain the other one but as you kept all of them on a same single board it helped me to understand all and gave me an apportunaty to be able to visualize and compare them, million thanks .

Fantastic video - thank you! Question though: how does catalytic efficiency change for each of the 3 reversible inhibitors? It would make sense for it to decrease (since they are inhibitors), but I have a question. Since catalytic efficiency is defined as Kcat/Km, I would assume that a competitive inhibitor would decrease catalytic efficiency because Km increases and Kcat is the same (since Kcat = Vmax/[total enzyme] and Vmax & [total enzyme] don't change). But for an uncompetitive inhibitor, both Km AND Kcat decrease. Wouldn't this not change the ratio of catalytic efficiency?
