He’s not checked out James, he is exhausted with his forwards missing big chances in huge games and referees decisions going against him. If they would have scored some of these chances Klopp would definitely have more energy. The players have let him down this last 10 games and it can’t be argued, none of them can really be proud of their performances. He’s pissed off

Players he's protected for so long, not performing when it counts. Klopp was ready to leave the day he announced to the world that he was leaving at the end of this season. But he stayed on in the hope that his players would fight with all thier might and give him a great send off he deserves with two or three out of the quad. But how wrong he was. The players, with the exception of the odd few. Have let the The Owners, The Club, The manager and the Fans down. I'm not including in that the young lads that won us the Carabau Cup. They were the stars of the season.
It's too easy only remembering the good times and pretending he has no influence on the bad ones. That's the same players that he has chosen, to the point that a lot of people in the sporting department (couple sporting director, Ian Graham and some in the data department) have left the club. Likewise those same players who are "letting him down" are the one he is coaching day in day out without any form of improvement. The final nail in the coffin being that he still continue to play them, making his change regardless of the way the game goes, at no point has he taken any risk by playing youngsters unless he was forced by the injuries. The owners is disingenuous, they are the one who, after we won the league decided to spend less than 10M in reinforcing the squad letting it rot year after year, only spending once everyone started leaving, leaving them with no choice.

I think you make a lot of valid points, James. There is no doubt that Jurgen Klopp has been one of the generational managers for Liverpool and deserves to have a stand or a statue raised in his honour, but look at how much these nine years we've been fortunate enough to have him as our manager have aged him. He tries to be accommodating to everybody by giving us fans his time and commitment, and yet it really has worn him out. He looks absolutely cream crackered. However, look at it from the point of view of the four midfielders who have signed on the dotted line (Endo, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Gravenberch) this season, excited by the prospect of working under one of the generational football managers of our times, and being integral members of his second generation Liverpool team and then hearing that same manager turning around a few months later, telling them that he no longer had the energy to take the project forward and was going to leave in the Summer. Would you feel alright about it and accept it, or would you feel that you've been duped and betrayed? I know that I would be feeling the latter emotion!
