Now that's my kind of Paper Mario. Thanks man.
An official sequel to Mario RPG would kick so much butt!
The creator said he wanted to
@@acesworld320 Crosses fingers.
@tntbigshow4826 still think it's crazy they didn't have him back for the remake
@@acesworld320 I know. That was weird.
@tntbigshow4826 yeah but had the original composer for the music 🤣🤣
Mario RPG survey. Nintendo smells 💰. Nintendo saw those Super Mario RPG Remake sales and Thousand Year Door preorder numbers.
I was never emailed the Mario RPG survey...
"Defence" was spelled wrong in their survey
Only if you’re an American. Otherwise defence is the common way to spell it.
Just give us solid stories, fun and interesting characters, and fun gameplay and character customization, Nintendo.
No ring combat. No stickers. Just meaningful combat, fun characters, and a worthwhile story. You can do it - you've done it before.
They all have all that, though.
Super Paper Mario has a really good story. I really like it. I understand how some don't because it moved away from turn-based and became action, but it's still a really good game and I'd put it on par with the first two Paper Mario games. All the ones that came after it is a disappointment, but the first three are great.
My biggest issue with Super's gameplay is how undercook it is. There's no variety to the actions & movesets, the playable characters; while cool, are very situational and only Mario & Bowser are the main source throughout the entire game, most of the chapters & level designs are absolutely tedious and the game as an whole is so piss easy.
@@jaretco6423 “piss easy” why does everything have to be hard to be enjoyable? It’s the weakest of the three, but it’s still in my top three favorite Paper Mario games. I keep a Wii hooked up to my TV just to return to this game from time to time. I hope it gets a remake on Switch just like TTYD has.
@EPS5000 It's only once you get Bowser & Carrie together because they're the most O.P. thing in the entire game. They can wreck everything without any sort of challenge. I don't mind games that are easy. But they should've had some sort of challenge thrown in. The game doesn't have that.
@@jaretco6423Super Paper Mario lets you choose different character/Pixl combinations to strategize and see what move sets work best. In older games, you just choose one partner and that’s it. Super Paper Mario also had post game challenges that offer some level difficulty. Still, older Paper Mario games are also pathetically easy. I managed to beat both games with no items and mostly basic attacks. Battles last longer than Super Paper Mario only because they’re turn-based, meaning you spend most of the time scrolling through menus and waiting for cutscenes.
Level design is older games is just linear hallways with slow backtracking, where you simply hold right and fight every enemy. I don’t see how Super Paper Mario is worse when has a lot more variety in its level design and less unnecessary backtracking. People just seem to ignore tons of major flaws with the older games.
@kumaranrvn 5716 I heavily disagree. The older Paper Mario games can be easy as well. But there not as braindead as Super Paper Mario was. At least the older Paper Mario games they had strategies and compelling battle system on how you beat enemies in battle in which are more compelling & challenging and they have more clever level designs in puzzles & platforming. Plus the partners have more varied into battles and progression. In Super, it doesn't have any of that. It's just either jump on them, pick something up to throw at or use Bowser with Carrie to deal double the damage. There's no strategy and challenge to them whatsoever. Even if there were, they are very unnoticeable because your just repeating the same movesets or using Bowser with Carrie over & over again. It's all brute force and ends in like 5 seconds. Also the platforming and puzzles in Super are nowhere near as clever as the older titles. Some are about be obnoxious & tedious and others you couldn't figured out without some sort of guide to progress. Which the older titles didn't suffer from. Also you do realize that there is an difference between the gameplay style of the first 2 Paper Mario games and Super. Right? Of course, TTYD has backtracking moments. But that's because the levels weren't big nor spacies. Most had an purpose to do so and at least it makes for it because the story gets more interesting and the gameplay was even getting better. Super might have the best story out of any Paper Mario games. I won't deny that. But the gameplay gets worst & worst because it gets really repetitive & tedious. Even if the story gets better, the gameplay doesn't get any better. No offense. But your wrong.
Omgg so excited for more mario/paper mario rpgs 😍✨
I really enjoyed Super Mario RPG. Short and sweet. Easy to replay.
How do you get these surveys?
I agree so completely with the battle system in Origami King, the game was so great in every other aspect but that battle system was infuriating.
Bring on more Mario!
Okay it's official, I am so hyped for Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door that it's going to be the first game I pre-order. Waiting just a bit to try and catch it at a better price. Really excited for SaGa Emerald Beyond too. I'm surprised that SaGa Frontier 2 hasn't been released for modern consoles yet. I got the first one for my birthday but the sequel was what brought the series to my attention, and while I never played it I would be excited to do so on the Switch.
WE NEED MARIO AND LUIGI DREAM TEAM 2
I really really really wish there was an awesome sequel or even better some more. Sorry if anyone criticizes for thinking about multiple sequels. At the same time I miss Mallow and Geno. May they please majorly return meeting Mario, Bowser, and Peach again?
Can’t wait to jump into Paper Mario
Hell yeah I'm trynna do the survey 😊
Would want Mario RPG games be more RPG like Super Mario RPG, Ubisoft forward is eh, and SaGa demo I'll have to check out as I've been seeing that game pop up from time to time, just wasn't sure how good the series is gameplay wise.
This is hype.
Yes suh
Ooo For Honor is coming to Switch?
SMRPG isn't selling another million this last quarter. It should get a few 100k more, and can potentially slow-crawl to over 4 million lifetime. That's just how games like this sell. Paper Mario TTYD isn't selling 5-6 million... it doesn't have quite have the popularity or prestige of SMRPG and it won't have holiday sales to boost it up.
Well-earned victory for the Demon Slayer game. Unlike most of those other half-assed anime arena fighters Bandai Namco has been crapping out at nauseum recently. Do I need to bring up the massive failure of that Jujutsu Kaisen game?
I know you're not a massive fan of the AC series, but personally I would HIGHLY recommend AC IV: Black Flag!
PM sticker star was a 9/10 for me. It was a 3DS game and they went for an original idea and it was a blast to collect 100% of the stickers.
TTYD is the only one I enjoyed so I'm super excited for the remake.
Bandai-Namco said they are going to focus on quality more. I honestly would love another game like the Naruto Xbox 360 game.
Ubisoft Forward should be the big blowout for Star Wars Outlaws.
I wish people would quit calling action games "anime arena fighters," players only buy them for the story mode and boss fights plus Hinokami Chronicles' 1V1 is promoted as a "versus side mode" in the trailers not and it' like anyone is setting up tournaments for it anyway. Hinokami Chronicles, Kill la Kill IF would probably sell less if they were fighting games but somehow people act like it's a high bar to meet.
hi OJ
This is just a reminder that I can't trust old school paper Mario fans when it comes to talking about the series or what it's to do in the future, They just can't be trusted here
They run around like "If TTYD sells well then that's how the franchise should be going forward.", but somehow that same sales argument doesn't apply to BotW and TotK style Zelda games.
I've started playing since SPM, so I should be excited to play TTYD, but when it got announced it did like nothing for me. That fanbase is so vile that it seems to have put me off the game.
What changes? Nothing happened yet. I swear you pulled the same a few months ago.
