    Thank you. Ive been a handgun guy, but see that long guns need to be a part of my collection, for all the reasons. So many reasons.
    I appreciate straight forward information. I cant stand all the gatekeeping classist snobism involved in the community. Not every person can just drop 2k at the basic whim.
    We should be encouraging the community to grow. We should encourage competition among manufacturers. These things drive progress.
    If i can spend $6-700 on an instrument that performs well, i will do so.
    These snobs out there.. do you only wear fancy name brand tee shirts? Designer jeans? Well, go ahead lil dandy boys.. do your thang. I was taught that real men snd women dont need name brand reassurance to feel cool. I understand thst there are quality levels. This creator never once said this is top line gear. This was made clear several times.
    I like this channel more and more every time i watch a vid.

      @@RTTGunsGear I've got DelTon, ATI, DPMS, PSA that within 100 yards, I can drill an paper plate all day long.
      The guy that trains frequently with his $600 Poverty Pony, and can hit his targets all day long or the Guy that has a dust bunny Knights SR15 who goes to the range to show off his spendy toy, but can't capitalize on that $3000+ investment, has wasted his money! I know, I have some high end ARs that I'd sell if I could do I could put more funds into ammo. My Wilson Combat AR15 gets ran daily dry fire and depending upon the weather and work makes trips to the range 2 times a month. I am going to be finding a 800+ yard range soon, and going to be making it a DMR and only running 75-77 grain target ammo, GPR is my DelTon, I've put a Roscoe barrel on it, Rave trigger, super 42 buffer spring and H1 buffer, and BCM BCG, it's just a great all around rifle now, and soon the YHM Suppressed upper and it will become the home defense/backpack gun.
      Expensive but happy hobby

    Bought an AERO lower and trigger pin holes out of spec and did nothing but walk out. Brand new lower and uppers no matter which was loose. Turned around and bought a Pony lower and works great tight fitment and no pins walking even feels better shooting. I have 4 lowers now and not one problem with them. What matters is that it’s made correctly regardless of the manufacturer.

    Anderson is far from trash, my first ever build was a PSA kit with an Anderson lower, 2nd rifle was a BCM upper with an Anderson lower, in those days you could buy a stripped Anderson lower out the door for 50 bucks. I then moved on to using Aero Lowers and BCM uppers and now run a Daniel Defense DDM4V7, each step was a noticeable jump in quality (though the BCM guns were better gassed than my DD)This gun makes alot of sense for 600 or under, but if we get into the 700 dollar territory, a BCM upper and complete PSA lower (or Aero or even Anderson lower) are the way to go for a duty grade rifle IMO. Though this gun would be absolutely fine as a training rifle, home defense rifle, truck gun or plinker. Andersons QC has definitely improved, I’d say it’s better than PSA, and close if not on par with Aero which had QC problems of their own a year or 2 ago.

    • @RTTGunsGear
      @RTTGunsGear  Před 26 dny

      I'm not overly impressed with DD. Especially for the money. And you put more faith in PSA than I ever would. But I've also seen far more PSA rifles that had either major to minor issues, that ones that actually ran well. But I do 100% agree with you that there are definitely levels in this game. And the quality jumps are noticeable. Thanks for watching!

    There is a lot of gate keeping in the firearms community. This brand is trash, the brand I like is way better blah blah blah. Some brands are known for being quality and often come at a higher price but many brands are getting by on name recognition also. No one thinks of BCA, PSA, or Anderson being top tier but these companies are capable of producing good items at a lower price point but also send out more lemons versus the higher priced companies. Part of the price of a great weapon is the reject bin.

    • @RTTGunsGear
      @RTTGunsGear  Před 26 dny +1

      I made a video about this some time ago. And that is with budget firearms, expect budget QC. Often times the prices are low because they're able to trim the fat off of man hours involved. And since you can't cut the man hours of the assemblers, because you then couldn't build a rifle at all. You have to make the QC checks less frequent. On the scale of budget AR's. I put Anderson and Radical on the top, far over the next two. Which is BCA, then PSA. Thanks for the comment and watching!
