Rainbow Heart #2 - Quilling Tutorial

Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for watching my video. I made this video especially for those who don't own a quilling husking board. Now everyone can make quilled rainbow hearts. This rainbow heart is a bit different from the one I made previously and with this method, you can make all sorts of quilled heart s in different shapes, sizes and colours. Have fun quilling! :)

I have learned a lot from you but I still can't get the tear drop and triangle twist petals. I have tried and tried. I am left handed and having a big problem with it. I just don't understand what I am doing wrong.

Hi Linda...I totally understand the problem. I don't think it's because you are left handed. I've tried making the teardrop and triangle twist petals with a variety of quilling papers and all turned out differently. It's all because the standard quilling papers are thicker than the type of paper that I used to make those petals. The weight of the quilling paper that I used was 80gsm, and I think that the standard quilling paper's weight is maybe around 100gsm or 120gsm? I'm not really sure because it's not mentioned on the packaging. But I could feel that it's thicker. I cut my own quilling papers from 80gsm A4 papers using a paper cutter.
