I don't see why they complain about the job ? All your doing is cleaning , and ruffling up the rotors along resurfacing them. What could possibly go wrong? That's serves the same purpose as getting them cut. As long as you have enough rotor and don't go below the recommended thickness of the walls , it should be perfectly fine. I done the same thing for years and no problems. Knock on wood ! Fantastic job sir .

As one who does have a lathe and also does his own brakes, I would not be too quick to condemn this video.

Thanks for video Anderson. Its been a great help to see some of your auto videos. For Rotor resurfacing, just wanted to know the tool you use, and sandpaper grit. Is that a grinder? And what grit are those disks? Thnx.

Same bolt pattern… block the car up but the rear rotors on the front wheel drive for turning power😉

You are a genius! Obviously you have to know what you are doing before you try this. My next weekend project...

You never know ! When you'll need to do this ! .... But I would like to recommend a new title " Resurfacing rotors at your own risk " ....LOL...With that, no one can say you didn't put the disclaimer out there.

Buy a standard transmission car then you can do this.
