Ole Squirrel Man. You sure did save a precious animal when you found him. I love when he does his Squirrel noises. I had one in a pine tree barking at me and my dogs while I was working in my garden. He was mad I interrupted his daily routine. Lol.

I have been just effing off this week ricky. It has been horrible hot. Those storms yesterday were crazy. There were tornado's up here. I saw stuff blowing down rt 7 yesterday evening.

P.S. I've been watching since you first found Squirrel Man. I've never said nothing, but it breaks my heart whenever I see the hitch in his giddy up. I know what it was from. I know you didn't know better. And I know that if you hadn't rescued him, he was owl bait. It's kinda symbolic of man's interaction with nature through the ages. I've probably gotten as much joy watching that d--mned squirrel as I have watching you sift points and dig marbles. Thanks more than you know !!

I like the thick cross section of that point. It is fascinating how they shaped the points based on their use. That 4 vein cateye sure does look nice under the UV light!

Yea. They really dont look like they will. I think they are marble Kings. Some of those orange ones like that really light up. I have found others too

Nice point. Rocks, I keep telling ya, a plain old dryer sheet is the best bug repellant out there. I put half of one in my ball cap head band. I know you don't wear a hat most of the time, but just take one, wipe it on your exposed skin, tear it in half and put it in your pockets. I promise, it's better than any 'Off" or "DEET" out there. Try it.
I have. I have tried everything. I think some mosquitoes are immune to anything. Andf the deer flies on the river...nothing you can do. I got bit 40 times yesterday on the river on the back

Use Vicks for the bugs like the old timers did. Thats one reason why you find so many blue vicks bottles.

I rescued a tiny squirrel palm size. It was blown out of a nest during a hurricane. It was wet and stiff cold. Well it lived through the night. What an amazing pet it became. Just like a kitten or puppy. Play play play. It liked to sleep with the cat and dog. It wanted a sample of everything I drank or ate. It sure liked ginger snaps. It's not legal to keep squirrels in North Carolina. Search pet squirrels CZcams I surely like your channel thanks.

That point is thick in the middle. That would make it a 50 caliber. They do resemble a fish spear. I agree. It is old with the grinding and the Polish. I like it!.❤
Yea. Some of those Real Classic Fish Spears. They have the cross section of a lead slug.

I'd say the squeezes are limited on that thing. Very cool find. I'm hoping to be on the riverbank somewhere early in the morning. There's a known Shawnee gathering place but it's a long walk just to get to it. We'll see what happens. That peach cateye was one of the cooler cateyes I've seen. I've had the same problems giving my kids medicine lol.

The funny little squeeze-mouth toy just seems like one of the many weird and generic toys of the 60s. Reminded me for sure of something I'd seen before. Nice glowing on that cat eye. Little trinket head was neat, thought it was a monkey head at first till it cleaned up. Gotta start getting brutal by this time of year especially with the heat we've had.squirrel man sure made ya work to get that milk down him. That points not an easy one to categorize that's for sure. body has a sort of Lamoka look to it being so thick and kind of crude, but the wide corner notching says no way, don't know if you get them that far south west of new York region though. Stay good Bud!

Hey Rocks, for those hot days, try the long sleeve hooded Huk (or similar) quick drying fishing shirts. You might be a lot more comfortable than in a regular sweatshirt. That's all I wear when I'm outdoors fishing and such.

ahahah...Yea. Straight Up. I have no idea what that is. I have found odd stuff like that on those amos sites for years. But never enough around the items to really get a handle on what it is. Always seem to be random odd finds...then not much else. That is kind of an odd looking point. Dont really have much like that
Squirrel Man's saying " Let me down big man, I want to go play ! ". Oh that Squirrel Man is something else !! That point looked like a real heavy hitter. The glowing marble looked like a peachy red to a red edge, to me on this end, thats before you hit it with the UV light. I sometimes think the colors change a bit, between you & me. Take care ! :~)

A nice Arrowhead a beach I go to is getting a pipe line dug across it to take rain water of the land and out to sea it's muddy but i'm finding some nice blades and scrapers...
