Google Trends is so useful and I'm glad you're providing this good training on the topic. I actually created an Excel tool that analyzes the data from the Google Trends graph.
I will also try it. As long as it worked for you, it should work for me, too.

The breakouts are all well and good problem is many of those have a very high SEO competition rate and the chances of you ranking anywhere near the first page of Google is almost zero. This is why I dont bother using Google trends. I need a more detailed research tool so that I know exactly where my chances to rank are.
