  • Taking apart the pro xp after last race only to find out I’ve been running the wrong size bolts. I was using factory Polaris hardware thinking it was ok. After a closer look I was way wrong!

You are right !!!!! I have an '18 turbo and have replaced several bolts because the threads were in the bearing surface ..... that weakens the bolt to the diameter of the threads !!!! All my shock bolts were replaced as well as my rear outboard link bolts. Come on, Polaris !!!! Your engineers know better than that !!!!! Great video !!!!! Thank you for the tech tips. You have a lot to teach us as you push your car way beyond most of us. 🙂
edit: DO NOT FORGET TO USE WASHERS FOR FILLET RELIEF OR YOU CAN BOTTOM OUT THE COLLAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great vid. Can you share the actual bolt size and share a link? Any help is appreciated.

I knew you had walker evans shocks on your car before your suspension upgrade. Do you have a rear shock sitting around I have a 4 seater of the same car and I’m pretty sure one of my rear shocks is blown only after 650 miles on the car it makes a clunking noise when I rock the car and rattles and clunks like crazy on the smallest of bumps

I unfortunately don’t have the stock shocks any longer but have you tried to remove the shock, spring and see what it looks like? It could possibly be blown. But you would see quite a bit of oil leaking out if that’s the case. Is your car still under warranty? With only 650 miles it shouldn’t be blown unless you took a super hard hit. Worth a try!

Think I figured it out I blew the inner seal and my nitrogen mixed with the oil
