The sounds of PS5 is based off the PS2 Startup sound I think which is charming.

Stoll doesn't seem as futuristic sounding as PS1 and 2 back in the late 90s. But it does look incredible.
Pretty sure the nostalgia factor plays a role here too. I do prefer the PS2 menu ambient.

I needed this because my PS5 is broken and I cant see an image on the screen. I want to back up some save data, because I'm a few hours before a difficult platinum trophy, before I send it off to get fixed/replaced. So I need to navigate the system and backup my data to a USB blind. I was pretty sure but just needed to be certain which buttons to press when I booted up the PS5. So thanks for helping me in a way that you probably hadn't anticipated.

@@RelentlessKnight well, I was brought up on Nintendo my whole life, as a kid I decided I want a PlayStation 1, so I’ve gotten the ps1 for Christmas, a week later it was stolen, so I stayed with Nintendo, now that I’m older I just wanted to play PlayStation, so I decided to get a ps5.
