- In this video I will go over using just a keyboard, mouse clicking, touchscreen and using the X-Keys XK-24 USB pendant for interfacing with the Centroid CNC Software

Hi Marty, could you post a video on how to program the Xkeys24 pendant to control a Lathe with lathe12 software and how upload the centroid macros onto the pendant? Thanks a lot.
Please ask your questions on the Centroid CNC User forum centroidcncforum.com/viewforum.php?f=60 I no longer recommend Xkeys. I recommend the Centroid wireless MPG
Hi Marty, Where did you get the artwork for the buttons. Cheers Dave.
Dave, are you talking about the jog display? Alt-J? That is part of the software. If you are talking about the the keycap buttons for X-keys keypad, I think I still have those. Let me know. I will be away for a week.
I was just googling looking for those key pads, lol. So obviously that is something you had made?
Hi Marty good moorning! we have a router is a vectrax, automated by centroid, linux operating system, I use in it an intercon software to program at the foot of the machine, it has three days that is broken, it will hurt (apparently) the memory Q-flash, the question is Why do you think it has been damaged? the machine was turned off 18 days because we went on vacation, and when I return I find that fault, this is not it?
Gerardo, I can't tell you specifically what may have happened. I'm not clear what the error is either. I suggest you contact Centroid support by email, send them a copy of the machines report file, or go to the Centroid CNC user forums and post your problem there along with the machines report file. Good luck!
Does cnc 12 have a relative position screen or a screen to display all positions absolute, relative and machine?
Position, Distance to Go and Machine Coordinates all on the main screen if you want them displayed as such.
In the current release. CNC12 for Acorn 4.50
Thank you. I also found in the manual to press alt-d. You’re awesome
It's special the XK-24 (small keyboard) cost more or almost same as a MPG with turning wheel... To me it seems so costly for something that shouldn't be... When you think about it you can get a "gaming-quality lighted keyboard" for less than 150$... the XK is about 200$ or so. I suppose it's because of offer & demand...
When you spend $200, I would HIGHLY recommend spending a little more and buying the Centroid wireless MPG. The Contour Shuttle Express is about $70 and supported
@@martyscncgarage5275 Yes I saw the wireless Centroid model but I prefer a wired version which needs no battery and not relying on RF especially for E-Stop. No RF waves around me while working is a plus to me as well. I saw the VistaCNC pendant that seems nice but not sure if they are compatible with Acorn, I will need to contact the company.
@@QuebecoisSti I can only tell you what is supported. Certainly you can try and use what is best for you.
You have a noisy machine.
