- Having DOCXumented Aussie Legend Kerser's career on the last installment, I decided to travel to Melbourne to sit down with his former nemesis, Australian Rap Icon 360.
Matt was absolute pleasure to speak with and I also am forever grateful for allowing me to ask any question I wanted to. I hope this does justice to his fans and new Australian Hip Hop fans looking to dive into the history of this ever growing and buzzing scene.

Such a great interview! I’m 25 years old now but I remember 15 year old me listening to falling and flying on the bus or walking home from school and listening to that album on my MP3 player. That album has so many amazing memories for me. It was the first time I was introduced to rap and was exposed to lyrics which were so dark, funny, raw and personal with such great Aussie style 😍 That album has a special place in my heart. What a legend!

Always interesting to see how 60 views himself v how I view him. Super cool dude. Loads of party Bangas and remembered highly for early Australian lyricism. He's guided what we really have going on now with less tools available to him during his time than we have now. In saying that his time isn't over.
Sometimes he speaks way to down on himself man you're an Aussie icon don't sweat it. Kerser fan, 60 fan and onefour fan here. I like everyone who done big for us

I would love this, i like both artists im more into kerser.. but I feel like kerser looks down on 60s raps, not 60 himself, but 60s raps, I feel like kerser doesn't really put in the effort to listen to 60 and he generalises his music.. so basically a bit of arrogance.. but idk man maybe one day they will do a track together.. would be great for the scene.
As a child my Dad had listened to 360 and Eminem and all that. And when I heard this one song called Drugs in his vintage modern album I asked my dad what's that song? And he tells me about 360. I'm in highschool this year I live in Australia and my dad and I love listening to him and he's inspired my artwork and alot of my life to keep going. What a legend 🇦🇺🤟
Followed Aus rap closely over the years, current gen has to know that 60 knocked down the barriers for real crossover success between rap and pop, and Aus and UK/beyond. Love the shout out to Chillinit and Nerve. Imagine that collab…. Make it so!!

Legend. Was good to hear 60 speak about everything.
What I loved/love about 6, is that he always seemed to be himself, his personality shon through his songs, you can tell he wasn't pretending to be something he wasn't.
He changed the Aus Rap game for the best, outside of Hilltop Hoods, him and illy at the time paved the way for what Aus Hip Hop can be, and we are all the better for it.

This is an excellent interview. The interviewer is great, articulate and well spoken but a real dude. Really got him to open up on some tough subjects.

I still listen to songs from what you see is what you get, it's an awesome album, I love it. I also wanted to wear all the same cloths same 360.
Watched this entire interview and the amount of stuff that 360 said that is some of the truest shit about mental health and all that. Also got a ton more respect for 360 after this interview I want to see 360 pump some new tracks out and succeed on the charts

The addiction part in this really hit close to home, quit I’ve after 4 years of using it which was insanely hard and then alcohol crept up on me. 360 put it really well into words how hard and serious it can be! If anyone out there is suffering addicting just please never stop quitting, please seek help if you can’t do it alone,m, you can hide it, make excuses for it but trust me, it gets wayyy worse to very severe and disgusting points. Wishing anyone who is reading this that is stuck all the best and please just help yourself. I know it’s so much easier said than done trust me ❤️ loved this whole interview. Suck a real dude!
