I remember my elementary music teacher would tell everyone “I know each and every one of you has a kind and amazing heart.” She would also give her students hugs as they left if they wanted it. I will never forget her she was super friendly and always encouraged us to be kind to one another. She was truly the greatest teacher I’ve ever had.

@Zac IOS Teachers do not get summers off. Some teachers teach summer school, but some work other jobs to make sure they have enough income. School may not be in session but they do not get paid vacations like that.
I love when teachers are in and understand student humor, it helps built a connection I don't think you can get with uptight and older teachers who are so rude
Exactly. My class teacher is one of the kindest and funniest people I know! He always cracks up when we make jokes and he even roasts students sometimes which just makes it funnier. He also knows exactly who to roast so nobody is mad at him or feels attacked.
I appreciate professors/teachers/tutors who make that effort. It makes all the difference 😭👏🏾👏🏾

I had a chem and bio teacher in secondary school, she is the most excellent teacher, she has such drive and though she isn't the nicest person,I remember when I was struggling with my school assessment she made time to get us in school during the pandemic and no matter how disgruntled she seemed, she made sure all of us had a mark to be proud of so we could go and do our exams knowing we already have 20% in the bag.I wasn't the best science student but I will always appreciate her. We did a similar thing where we turned off the cameras for her birthday and all of us wrote happy birthday on papers and she had the most brilliant smile.(Because she doesn't smile alot) She was in such a good mood for the rest of the day.

My L.A. teacher refers to all of us as “wonderful humans”. She’s the sweetest teacher I’ve had and I can’t ask for a better one. My dog is dying and will be put down on Wednesday, and when I emailed my teachers to tell them the situation, she proceeded to respond almost immediately with four components; she said how grief wasn’t my fault, she explained how she understood the situation since last year her dog died, she branched that into how all the teachers I emailed were there for her just like they’re gonna be there for me, and she finished off with a little humor (she said “I know heart emoji’s aren’t cool anymore, but I’m gonna put one anyway ❤️). I don’t think she knows how much that helped me out. I’ve been planning to be a teacher for quite a while, and now that just motivates me more. If I can make students feel how I do with her, than I’ll feel accomplished.
I’ve seen a tiktok a student made because his teacher was on mute and giving a speech, and it was actually Nicholas, (one of the teachers in this video) and when the student told Nicholas, Nicholas said “Oh well that sucks because I was giving you guys a speech, I’m not repeating all of that!”. Idk I just wanted to share that lmao-

4:26 we did this for my teacher too, last year was also our last in school so we wanted to make something special for him bc he was always this bright and funny person and we wanted to pay him in some way.
Unfortunately, my teacher passed one month after we graduated, he always encourage us to follow our dreams and always asked us to stay safe in our homes during this pandemic issue, he even made a poster with a funny draw of the virus w a quote like "im watching you".
I feel bittersweet watching this part, we actually wanted to do something for him to remember us but he ended being the one who we'll remember the rest of our lives.

The last one is so beautiful. I always try to ask my teachers how they're doing at the beginning of class PRECISELY for that reason. Teaching is a job, but it's a part of one's whole life. One can be a teacher AND a stay-at-home mom with children, a pet and a whole laundry list of things to do - including actual laundry at times. i felt that frrr! what the guy teacher said, i have one teacher that i care about alot and he cares about me too! i am a senior about to graduate and he got emotional talking about me to the whole class of how i made his year better ! things like that makes both our and the teachers days go by... i will miss him alot he is literally the best ever.
Even as an instructor at a community college, I still get all smiles over an email or a submission comment or even an im message in our program that shows appreciation or just saying that something was interesting or enjoyable.

Everytime I think a teacher is upset I try to make them feel better. I remember seeing my english teacher super upset and tired throughout the class. When I was done with my work I wrote her a note in her favorite colours and gave it to her. She gave me a note the next day saying how happy it made her. Kids need to realize teachers need a extra boost too
I try to be nice to every teacher I have, even if they aren't nice to me back
I was always the teachers pet because I knew they work really hard and I did what I needed to do. When I was having hard time I would tell the teacher what is going on and ask her/him what should I do. It is amazing that I have and had those teachers in my life. They are my role models and motivation to work hard and harder.

I had a teacher who knew my struggles with anxiety and depression and in-between classes/during lunch/when he didn't have a class he'd made this deal with my other teachers stating I could go there and he'd let them know that that's where I was and I could just break down and it was a safe space for me to break down and in return I became one of his math tutors for an after school help program he had set up and I spent every day after school there helping other students understand math he helped me so much and even stated that if I ever needed a letter of recommendation I could also go to him there are no words to thank him for all that he did for me, but because of him I want to be a teacher I want to help others like he helped me.

once my teacher broke down and started sobbing in class because nobody would turn their mics on. nobody turned their mics on even when she started to cry.
i feel guilty because my mic broke that same day so i couldn’t talk to her even though i wanted to. i’m serious i wasn’t faking, my mic really was broken.

@@roseblacketupinku1059 Thank you. Unfortunately I don't really know how she's doing. Since school went back to 'normal', she's been acting as if it never happened. What's worse is that so do all the students, but that could be because she isn't well liked by most of the students (she sets A LOT of homework and can very strict at times). But I still regret not asking her how she was when I first saw her. I know these times have very difficult been for everyone.
@@stitchedmouthgirl Ah I understand that. She probably wants to put it behind her and I bet majority of the students are too timid to ask about how she is. Its really great knowing that there are people like yourself who care though. Your comment made me rethink not answering during live lessons so im gonna try to get better at that.
