Awesome tutorial, just one left question. After nodding it, can I just take the SD card out of the wii u if it's turned off download some new stuff and put it back in before turning the console on or do I need to do something to remove the SD safely?
It's best to turn the console off and then remove the SD

I'm very new to this, successfully modded the wii u, but do you have to mod the vwii separately to also play wii and gamecube games? I thought you were able to already, but I'll have to order a wii remote
In my opinion, it's way easier to do it on the vWii
You can play GameCube games from the main menu of the Wii U, but you would have to inject every single game individually which would take forever
Greatest video I’m so sad don’t find videos like this in Spanish with all the files you need and how made your SDCARD step by step, I’m hope one day start my channel and translate this type of videos to Spanish speakers, anyway thanks to share this everything works well!!
I mean there used to be this channel called “Tesmuk” which was awesome, great step by step visual guides for different software versions and consoles (specially the whole 3Ds 2Ds family), but I think the channel is dead now, he either got hacked or moved one, haven’t seen him in a while
I didn't get the nand dump files incase my wii u breaks. Please how do i get those?
When I use the wii mod manager and make folders on the SD card, the folder have a bunch of corrupted stuff on them, do you know why?
Hey thanks for the video! The guide was really easy to follow and I had no problem updating my wii from an old version of Tiramisu to Aroma
Also, how do you access the Homebrew Channel for the Wii U from now on? The Mii Maker boots into the real app and the health and safety info app also loads normally.
The Homebrew channel can only be accessed through tiramisu and is not supported on aroma.
Aroma basically puts all your Homebrew apps directly on your home screen. Bypassing the need for the Homebrew launcher

Is there any way to run Guitar Hero 5 on Wii U? (from usbloader, tried all the cIOS settings)
I'm having a bit of an issue with running Powershell on the Mii Channel file. Even when running PowerShell, the actual file does not show up in my downloads folder. Is there any quick fix for this?
Also, HUGE props to your videos. I quite literally got the inkling to start modding my Wii six days ago because of your video, and have modded a Wii for my coworker AND MY WiiU in the span of a few days. You are doing a lot of nerds a serious service.
Are you running Windows? What's happening exactly? Have you tried making sure you open it as system administrator of your PC?

it seems windows by default blocks scripts now. you can open the powershell as admin, use Get-ExecutionPolicy, itll most likely show "restricted". if thats the case, you can change it to unrestricted by using Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy unrestricted -force, then run the script, and if you want change it back to restricted using the same command
@@BelowAverageGaming I ran Powershell as administrator, but when not running it normally, it will no longer just open the file and install the wad by dragging the file into powershell, I'm not sure why it doesn't work.

Love your videos and tutorials but I was wondering if I could do this same process but with a usb drive instead or do I have to download an extra thing to do so?

For some reason when in the d2x custom ios installer only 'd2x-v11-beta1' comes up with no vwii at the end any ideas how to fix?

when i try to run it, powershell just blinks up for half a sec and instantly closes. u can see a red colored textline, but dunno what it says cause its gone so fast...
I even click "open" on the security warning tab, that shows up before powershell opens the script.
any ideas?
I haven't encountered this issue, have you tried running it as system administrator?
@@BelowAverageGaming trying sth else atm: i opened the script with txt editor and copied it into powershell myself, now sth seems to happen-
it took some minutes, but it worked!
(the wanted file got loaded into c:/users/...)

@@stoley_ I copied the text into Powershell like you suggested and it created a wad file for me - 0001000248414341v6.wad ... Do I keep that title for the file or change it?

No unfortunately
So i did everything and my SD card says it can't be read by wii u. I did the fat 32 format...
Try a different SD card
Make sure the card isn't too small
And reformat the current card and try the steps again, Make sure you're plugging the SD card directly into the Wii U and not through an adapter.
If none of that works, perhaps your SD card slot is broken

@@LavishKing15 You gotta Unblock the file using properties and let it run without signing the script
@vnua05 A little more detail would be great here! I didn't have this issue, so I don't know how to fix it. So this would be really helpful for others
