#complicatedknots #amigurumi - Jak na to + styl
You have no idea how badly I’ve been wanting exactly this content! No one else is teaching how to design!
That’s because it’s complicated and also because this is where the real money is
You’re a crochet scientist that makes you so unique and creative.
Part 3 is not wanted, it is needed!! And having the maths lessons and the explaining why in video is muchly appreciated
You are teaching this in a way that really works for my brain! Parts 3 to whatever is needed please! Also your explaining how you sketch this out is wonderful. I'm so thrilled with this! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have made this 75 yr old very happy and excited. My granddaughter is easy to choose what to make for her. But my 2 grandsons (15 and 9) baffle me for crochet. One I'm sure would like pokémon but the other i have no clue. Learning your process will help be able to have them give me a picture of what they like. I have been learning geology to help my brain stay functioning. Know I just want to learn stuff. I also want to make stuff. I've crafted all my life. But now I'm disabled and stuck semi reclined in a recliner. This limits me in how I can work. So I must do hand stitching crafts. My expensive sewing machine just gathers dust. You are making my world better!
the amount of spatial awareness this requires is honestly amazing. you’re a freaking genius
Loving this series on the mathematics of how to achieve these shapes, and I can understand them all, so thank you for not making it to complicated 😀
I would love a Part 3! I'm new at creating my own patterns so this is very helpful!!
I agree, I made a pattern but it's wonky and these videos will hopefully help me :))
Part 3 explaining more on the spiral and adjusting starting point please? I need more detail to understand fully.
Thank you so much for the crochet design masterclass. I've learned so much. I've always wanted to design my own patterns, and now I can.
I love this series, and I'm super excited to put it into practice! I'd love to see a video on short rows for shaping some time in the future~
1. This video is insanely helpful, 2. I love your comment about the transitions - I totally sympathise!! and 3. Thank you for putting so much effort into these, it's really helpful for those of us who don't even want to design to sell - just to design for our own purposes. Thank you!!
This is so underrated! I love crochet but struggle with numbers and the way you provide visual aids and clear reasoning is so helpful!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! For years I've been haphazardly building a crochet toolbox out of the very "paint by numbers" world of available patterns. This video is the first I've seen that really breaks down the rules of "3D printing by hand" that is the thing I absolutely LOVE about crochet and amigurumi. You've explained perfectly how this works, and provided the words and theory that help me see what I was consistently missing in my freehand process. I'm so very excited to integrate some of these ideas! Here's to (moderately) less frogging in my future! haha
Love your phrase " 3d printing by hand"🤣
This is exactly why I live by the sayings and/or rules of.
{‘Everything Happens for a reason’}
Life will always give you exactly what you need, when you need it and are ready!
I’ve been doodling on my own trying to figure out how to make my own crochet pattern’
Just so happens that you popped up on the internet somewhere that you can take a class on crochet beginners and somehow it took me to facebook and this video!! You are truly a Gift for Me! So precisely explaining the basics blessings to you amazing person who truly doesn’t know how much of a treasure you are!
This was absolutely wonderful. You, girl, have a knack for teaching and even my crazy brain 'got it'. Thank you so much for putting these videos together. Yes, I'd love to see a part 3 with additional shaping and how you work your magic. Thanks again!
First, I just wanted to THANK YOU for creating the detailed amigurumi designing videos as that’s exactly what I need to understand what stitches/numbers do and freehand patterns!!! I’m embarrassed to say this but my spatial awareness and drawing skills are nonexistent. I know I’m so close to fully understanding your videos but I’m still confused on the section breakdowns in rows where you have the circular drawings with top vs. bottom including notations. The other thing I am still unclear on are the clusters you mentioned in another video for shapes such as cube, triangle, circle, etc. Could you create videos clarifying these two aspects a bit more slowly for dummies like me please? I would be happy to compensate you for your time and efforts if there’s a custom Etsy listing for a video tutorial. If this is not feasible, I understand. Thank you for imparting your valuable knowledge to the crochet community especially for math “phobics” like me!😅😊🙌🏾
Would love a third video on short rows and when to/not to use them!
I watch your videos every week, and I wasn’t quite sure until I watched these instructional videos but now I know, this is love. Your personality and knowledge just shines through the video, the admiration I have for you my darling 💕
Keep up being you, cause that is almost perfection ✨
And yes, my boyfriend is very aware at how awesome I find you, we even have an inside joke “so you did some crochet with your crush today, huh? 😏”
this is fantastic, there are no other such online free teaching about such factors about crocheting, you are a life saver, also part 3 is going to be well appreciated, best of wishes
WE NEED ANOTHER PART 😊
This was amazing! I honestly have crocheted in ages because I came across some patterns that just didn't work and I didn't know how to fix them. With this information I should be able to go back and make them no problem! Thank you!!! (Also I would love a part 3 if you're up for it. You explained things so well, and simplified some hard concepts in an easy to understand way)
This ignited my love for geometry! I just got a little confused with the changing starting points. I would really like to learn how to switch colours mid design!!! Your videos are super superrr helpful!! I think I am a fan now. :)
This video is just what I needed since my first design has a curve in the belly section and I was confused on how the heck to replicate that I know beginner shapes like ovals, spheres and tubes
WE NEED PART 3!!!!!
a part 3 would be amazing, the videos are insanely helpful
i cannot put into words how helpful this video was!! ive felt so intimidated by pattern making, but now i cant wait to make my own! you explained everything beautifully, thank you for including so many visual aids (especially the chart at 1:40 , this was eye opening to see inc and dec laid out this way) thank you for making this video i really do hope you make more parts to this series!! 🧶💕😊
All this design series is marvelous. Please consider doing part 3, and 4, and 5... 🙏💜
Thank you so much! I'd love a part 3 (and more!) Just a comment about raw 13 and 14 of the worm : the final counts are 15 and 18 stitches (not what's written in the top section). Somehow it's reassuring to see even experts can make small mistakes 😅 Thanks again for all your work ❤
This pleases me greatly, as a human and a maths teacher
Part 3? Well, yes please!!! This is so helpful! Thank you so much!
Wow!! This is EXACTLY what I want to know! Please make more of these! thank you so much!!!
Thank you. You've given me exactly what I wanted. I've found some great tutorials on blogs for the following shapes done flat or in the round: squares, triangles, spheres, ovals, and tubes. They do the math, explain how to do it in general rather than just for one item, and show the charts. Not for curves. It is generally just: you can do it with increases and decreases, short rows, or stitches of different heights and now here is my finished item. True, but . . . . So yay you!
Hi I've just sub recently this is the only video I've seen with different shapes. I've just started to learn to crochet about 6 months ago. I was having problems understanding the worm pattern from row 13. Only because I don't know how to create a new starting point. but your videos are really good thank you
drawing each row and showing where to add the increases and decreases is so smart omg
these videos are SO good!! i'm not a visual person at all so breaking everything down into smaller pieces and drawing each round is very helpful. thank you
this is very helpful and came out just at the right time. I'm sitting here looking at my sketch, reload youtube and this video is here to show me how!
yes please part 3
Oh this is awesome! You should make more videos on shaping and designing❤❤❤❤
This is such a detailed breakdown, thank you so much. When you were originally talking about how just sc keeps it straight, and increases make it curve away, I had no idea what that really meant for the pattern. When you put the different views up and showed exactly what you were doing and how it affects the pattern, it became so clear! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
I would love to see more of this tutorial series!
Thank you! This makes so much sense to my brain, love the explanations! :D.
I just finished my first guinea pig design!!!! And wehre mathing myself through it didnÄt work anymore, I even used your little circle notation. And now I am a happy owner of a pink crochet guinea pig, because I only ever use my pink yarn for learning, AND a pattern to make properly colored guinea pigs :D .
Love this series of learning the process of creation of the Amigurumis. You are a great teacher.....This video was funny and informative🔦 at the same time. I'm so glad that I came across. I will love a 3rd part......please🙏..... thanks for sharing your knowledge 💌
Please please give us a Part 3! I’d love to see one that includes short rows, since I love the shaping on the naughty mouse! I’m currently gathering the courage to do my first original design, and I would like to have short rows in my toolbox. It’s so great of you to put so much time and effort into producing these “how tos”.
This series of videos is absolutely incredible. Very informative, easy to follow, and interesting. I’ve learned so much and you are a treasure for this.
I think you could make a lot of money if you found someone to develop an app for your notation system, so they can tap stitches on the diagram and set different notations, and the app will automatically make the next diagram based on which notations you used previous round, etc.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE VIDEOS🎉🎉🎉
honestly i really liked the maths aspect of it and it would be great you did more mathsy stuff in the future, really love your patterns btw
I feel like this was the thing I really needed. Amazing guide as always! I also would like to see a guide about creating custom pieces for detailing
That graph of increases and knowing they're in increments of 15° is so valuable to me. I don't typically design but I wanted to make my partner a custom plushy to match something he already had, and I spent so long just trying to understand vaguely how to get the shape I wanted. That graph would have been so helpful
yesssssss please do a part three!!! you explain things in a way that helps me to understand them so much I can incooperate them in my own stuff! (in other words I understand why the pattern calles for xy&z and I'm going to try to incooperate some of that in a realy simple whale next week.) Idk how you do it but stuff makes more sence when you explain it lol...
Thankyou so much I couldn't find this anywhere!!!!! Im new to crocheting but this is what i want to do as a crocheter ty ty ty :)
I'm loving this series. Would love to know more please..... you are totally my go to person for amigurumi.... you make it so understandable
I love how you did the bunny feet. 😍 Great information! Thanks so much. 🤗
Thank you so much for this information. If I hadn’t have watched this, I don’t know if I’d ever be able to learn how to make my own designs. I’m horrible at math but you explained everything so well so that I could understand! One thing I found a little confusing was readjusting the starting points especially on the worm where you went back 2 stitches. I would absolutely love a part 3 and any other helpful information you could share! Your channel is by far my favorite crochet channel and I just love your personality. Thank you!
A part 3 would be super awesomeness😀
It is fascinating to me how differently you arrive at your own patterns- I do a lot of freehanding shapes (because my daughter frequently requests weird shapes of me) and I'll plan them out on paper and all, but how I arrive at my geometric shapes is totally different- like, it's the same basic shapes in the end, but my mental roadmap to get there is wildly different. This is such a cool look into another crocheter's process!!!
I just want to say I love your videos!! They’re incredibly beginner friendly and you are an excellent teacher. I’m going to try to crochet Toothless using my own pattern soon! Thanks for the high quality videos !! :)
Thank you so much for this video! I wish more of the crocheters I watch would share such an in depth look, but I can understand why they don't. Would love a part 3!
Wowww, the slope part was so useful to visualise the process. Thank you for including it ❤
Thank you so much for creating these guides. I am hoping to start designing my own amigurumi so that I am not limited by whether I can find a pattern for what I want to make and seeing the process you use when designing is really helpful. ❤
Absolutely fantastic video. I would love to see a part 3 ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely amazing Girlfriend! You are a genius teacher and I am so thankful for finding your tutorials. Keep up the amazing work.
I would love a part 3
'Do not only practice your art, but force your way into its secrets, for it and knowledge can raise men to the divine.' - Ludwig van Beethoven
🤯 I’m impressed. You are very smart.
We need part 3
I started making my own design and I can't thank you enough for this. Going in blind took me so much time but this would actually help me a lot!
Thank you so so so much!!! You're awesome!
This is so clear for me, and makes SO MUCH SENSE!!!
Thanks for this series and for publishing part 2 so soon! It’s really informative and easy to understand. All that’s left is practice!
Very helpful tutorial. Thanks for making it!
This is precisely the video I was looking for a few weeks ago. Glad to see I was on the right track with the stitch annotation!
I just found you and I must say your content is awesome 😊 you have a way of making things that seem confusing af super easy to comprehend. I’m nowhere near ready to design my own patterns but it’s my goal this year.. thank you for helping me along ❤❤
Great content. I really appreciate your videos. The music in the background is a distraction, though.
A part three would be incredible.
I love designing and the process of designing. Have recently picked crocheting back up, this makes total sense.
Your video is brilliant, would only request to please make the background music much quieter, was distracting
I love these series so much, you are a spectacular teacher
This is just amazing, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
The visuals really help! I can’t wait to try out this process and see what I can come up with!
This all makes so much sense! THank you!!!
Seems simple and complicated at the same time, but that's just because I have not tried it yet myself. Your explanation is incredible and so complete it speaks to all the learning types inside my brain 😂 thank you so much!
Absolutely love your channel and am thrilled to find video! I've been winging it with crochet design for a while and now I have so much more direction and understanding, thank you!
This is fantastic!!! I love your explanations and your notation. It is so understandable! ❤
Love this series!
This is amazing. I couldn’t find this info explained so easily anywhere. I’m excited to try it out!
Can't wait for the third part!!

A part three is something I would definitely like to see
You're doing an awesome job and you have inspired me many times.
This is amazing content and I am so happy I found you
This is so helpful. I needed the visual for a design i want to make and now i can refer to this video. You're amazing, keep up the good work. Mom hugs 🤗
Definitely definitely need more parts!! I’m trying to learn to be a Crochet artist and design my own work… you have helped so much! Definitely looking forward to more!
Thanks! i really needed a good tutorial like this!
Learned color pooling from you and now this. You're videos are amazing and I love how I don't have to seek out 5 other videos by different creators to satisfy my curiosity. Keep up the great work please.
