It is bad for any aspirants to spend 30-40k on dual core laptops. (Used laptops is also a better choice for many though)
I'm currently using a laptop with intel 2nd gen i3-2350m cpu + Hard disk. When you plug your laptop/computer to power source, it doesn't even matter if is 2nd gen cpu or 12th gen! (for normal tasks). With SSD, it would perform even better.

@@AmitProgue28 I purchased lenovo thinkcentre in 2020 and the price was 6000 rupees but I want to do a little bit gaming too so I bought 3 ram sticks and a GTX 750ti and a ssd and now this pc can run some games like gta v, battlefield 3, 4 and I think it was a good deal.

I got a dell optiplex from my local market in Saharanpur Uttar Pradesh, i got my whole pc for about 15-16k with monitor include a year ago. It has same specifications i5 4590t, 1333mhz ddr3 8gb ram in 4 channel, and at that time i didn't had enough money to get an ssd so i adjusted for a 320gb 5400rpm hdd. The only issue in my pc is the hdd otherwise the performance can really good with the processor ram and ssd combination. Fully recommend this product.

at 3:40 you said it is upgradable to win 11 which is not true, win 11 only support intel 8th gen and newer only not this one as this is 4th gen intel processor. Microsoft is retiring win 10 in 2024 so this is not recommended

But the problem is how long will it last. I don't think refurbished mini will last more than 2 months as reviews of this particular device in Amazon are quite horrible.

I'm using Dell optiplex 3050 since 2011, its amazing performance and smoothly running. You are talking about thin clients units but it's not good for subjected to maintenance issues. After little falut in CPU unit its moves and dump to e waste zone. I don't recommend it for general purpose.
Officially Windows 11 par upgrade nahi hoga bro. It requires intel 8th processor at least. Obviously, there are multiple ways to bypass the 11 requirements though. But for a normal user who is not tech savvy might not be able to upgrade.

Not worth the money. I got a used mini PC with the same processor from Lenovo for under 8k. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. It's really reliable.
You should've gone with i3 8th gen version, which comes around for 12k.
I also appreciate his work like this. He literally thought about the people who have lower budget for pc. Or the students who don't have a lot of money and want to study on a pc.

It supports NVME, I have installed. Not sure about CPU because power supply is only 60W so it may not support all newer CPUs. I upgraded 8gb to 16gb similar RAM, it works great.

Its all nice till its working fine....i would not recommend buying refurbished as the quality of refurbishment is hit and miss. I had two cpus mobo gone bad within 3-6 months. Couple of my friends got refurb laptops and one of them is having serious issues that need frequent repairing.

I guess we can easily get refurbished laptops at around 15k, with better specification than this, and that in my opinion is a better deal. Feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.
Yes, going for newer gen means better future proofing and compatibility. I got the Optiplex 9th gen i3 with DDR4 system, it doesn't lag anywhere but in gaming. But Laptops I'm not sure you can get for so cheap refurbished. I did a lot of searching and this was the cheapest deal I could find.

Yes this is actually good..... I m using i5 3rd gen with 8gb ram and 500 gb sata ssd.... But still i can play valorant in it... And also doing 50 60 fps gaming in 720p :)

Windows 11 can be installed unofficial but it's not best to buy and install
Old spare can do that experiment to put windows 11 on it

timeframe : 3:40 - bhai win 11 pe upgrade nehi kiya ja sakta... 4th Gen does not support win 11, for windows 11 install you have to download ISO pirated and then bypass the processor check by clearing registry...
@TechBar can you suggest some 20k refurbished system, planning in to slam a RTX 3050 into an older system. Found Lenovo ThinkCenter M73 Desktop (Intel Core i7 4770s) that will match gpu performance but this is housing a very weak PSU with a proprietor power pins.

U'll need 6th or 7th gen i5 T processor atleast. Around 11-12k ka hoga. If u already have a keyb, mouse this will be a good deal.

When i run csgo in low settings it run on 40 to 50 fps lowest is 20 its kinda smooth
