    • @AndyMitchellUK26
      @AndyMitchellUK26 Před 2 lety +4

      @@daveberry9922 I wouldn't worry about germs with the temperatures of these things. Even that exit tray is fine as anything touching that will have already had the germs well and truly killed. As for flies? If the restaurant is set up properly with pest control then you won't see flies near it (that and the heat tends to repel them naturally as it gets damn hot near the exit). I have worked in Burger King and trust me, it's not as filthy as you think.

      @Group Anonymous AMEN!!!👏👏 I have only been to 1 Burger King in the past 15 years that actually used the broiler....All the other BK locations' burgers tasted microwaved, watery, no flavor.

    • @AndyMitchellUK26
      @AndyMitchellUK26 Před 2 lety +2

      That's down to the individual setting the speed up on the machine. Too fast and it cooks it enough to be safe but you lose the char. Too slow and you incinerate it. In rush hour they push the speed to cook more per hour. Go when it's quiet and insist on a fresh burger and ask them to run the broiler at normal speeds and they should be more than happy to.

    • @AndyMitchellUK26
      @AndyMitchellUK26 Před 2 lety +1

      @@robindear5043 The burgers are not microwaved to cook them. The reason they taste watery is because they are placed in a steam hold area if they are not immediately used. The microwave is used to melt the cheese and bring a little warmth back to the burgers after sitting in the steam tray. As per my previous reply- go when it is quiet and ask for a fresh burger and not to microwave it to melt the cheese. Let them know you would be happy to wait for the burger to cook and they should be fine with that.

    • @AndyMitchellUK26
      @AndyMitchellUK26 Před 2 lety +3

      It's actually not. The trays are removable and the inside itself can be cleaned on a "hot" cycle that literally incinerates all of the meat stuck on the rails. The pain in the neck is cleaning the ventilation above as that stays hot for quite some time and you can only do it after the broiler has cooled down. The ventilation usually only gets cleaned on a Sunday where companies tend to close earlier.

    Is this the one that BK uses?

    • @Bageera63
      @Bageera63 Před 6 lety +3

      Yes. It's one of many models. This is an older Nieco. Nieco makes electric, propane & natural gas broilers.
      Edit/Add: Company owned BK use Duke Flexible Batch Broilers, but franchisees can choose between Duke or Nieco.

      @YOLORACER Před 5 lety

      Bageera Sixtythree yep I worked at Burger King and like you said same principle of machine just different model, I use to clean that machine almost 5 times a week because I used to close the restaurant . Every night disassembling it (partially) putting back together and scrubbing those broilers, not very exciting work .

    • @AndyMitchellUK26
      @AndyMitchellUK26 Před 2 lety

      @@JoeCnNd To be fair the main roller area isn't too bad as the heat from the flames tend to incinerate any debris left over (the one at my old BK had a "clean" mode like Neff ovens where it ran extra hot to incinerate everything left on the rollers). The biggest pain is the entrance/exit parts due to the amount of grease on them.

      I looked up the specs for this broiler that i posted below, it's actually gas fired, the burners are those IR type burners that you would find in some propane space heaters, they glow blaze orange then just blue flames because they are designed to produce more of a sun like heat, over top of each burners is also a clam shell like radiant plate that gets heated red hot, this is what the dripping ignite on.

      DEATH IS REAL. Those that die have NO CONSCIOUSNESS WHATSOEVER, there is no afterlife.
      Ecclesiastes 9:4-10, Psalm 6:5, Psalm 30:9, Psalm 88:10-12, Psalm 146:2-4, Psalm 115:17, Acts 2:34, Isaiah 38:18-19
      However, 2000 years ago a man named Jesus was born, he was the son of God. God, who always existed, begat Jesus, Jesus did not always exist. First there was the Father, God, then came his son. Jesus really is Gods son.
      Jesus lived a perfect life, and died on the cross as a substitute for you and all the bad deeds you have committed in your life, these bad deeds are called sins, we are all sinners, and the wages of sin is to suffer and eventually die.
      All of Jesus died on that cross, his body, his soul, his spirit
      www.askelm.com/essentials/ess018a.htm
      3 days Later after being totally dead (he ceased to exist and was in a lifeless corpse) God raised him back to life and Jesus ascended into heaven.
      Thanks to this he defeated death and sin once and for all for everyone. Since he was sinless he could die in your place.
      Thanks to this, everyone will one day attain immortality and enter into the Kingdom of God, hell exists for some but it is not forever. In the end Jesus saves all. The cross grantees the salvation of everyone who ever lived. We have no free will. God gives faith to anyone he chooses. In the end he will give faith to all.
      HELL IS NOT FOREVER. JESUS SAVES EVERYONE IN THE END.
