Definitifly a masterpiece! I love the eye-catcher Alissa with her growl or (beautiful) clean or soft voice. Her stage presence is simply magically and incredibly! It is not the 1st time for Arch Enemy. Listen to the song "Reason to Believe" on album WILL TO POWER with clean voice. I think it was a long overdue step, use the full potential of her voice. Btw. who designs her fuckin' outfits?
And the other guys? Guitars? Bass? Drums? Really perfect and amazing. A lot of ideas that makes me addicted eg. solos, the bridge ... This song blows my mind away!

Thanks for this. I enjoyed to hear your perspective. You're a good reactor/reviewer. Positive and constructive. It was surprisingly a lot focused on the video. To me the video is secondary really. I think it's a very good song. Judging the instrumentals alone I think it's an excellent song. One of their best. Vocals, not a big fan. I place the singles like this: 1. House of Mirrors 🔥🔥🔥2. Deceiver Deceiver 🔥🔥🔥 3. Handshake With Hell 🔥🔥 I think the execution of the cleans ruined the song a little bit for me. I'm in full speed excitement from the intro and then she sings "when all is said an done" clean, without any passion, I lose almost all my excitement immediately. It's a real bummer moment. She does give it more passion towards the end so it does improve. I wish she could do the live shows with a bit more conviction and determination than this relaxed and casual way presented here. The heavy vocals are 10/10 like usual. This song will be good for new-fans. It's a good idea of the band to make one like this. I just hope not all the songs are like this. Because, I can't really enjoy passion less vocals like these, even though if it's for just a few seconds. I think there's a big chance that she might change this live, when she sees that the energy of the audience goes down. Keep those circle pits moving, sing your butt off! 🤘😈 The clean bridge was done better than the chorus. Clean singing with soft insteuments behind suits AE better. With heavy instruments and rhythms there should be heavy vocals ffs. It's an Arch Enemy signature for 26+ years god damn it. For heavy metal cleans there are so many other alternatives out there. Risky direction. Subbed + liked. Cheers!
Well... as a girl I focus on the visual a lot 😆 and I cant hold a tune. I do not have ears for singing. So only thing I can tell about the music is if I like it or not 😊
