Sure wish you had been at LSFEST. There wasn't much there in support of the GENV. I was looking at the air intake and thinking about mine. I don't have enough room to get a decent straight section if I go to the side. I think I"m going to have to come out and make a 180 and have the filter over the head. My engine compartment is less than 24" at the front of the engine.
What transfer case did you use with the 8l90 , and is the 8l90 a good choice? I heard that it has issues and many shops prefer the 6l90 and the 4l85 over it, thank you

It’s the factory t case from that vehicle. It also drives the speedo
