Have you ever had a problem with the 8l90e not shifting in a swap?? Scanner says its shifting but the car starts on a higher gear and wont shift out of it
What rear end gearing do you have? ....if you have a 4.11 , 3.73 the transmission wil not function correctly.....if you go into hp tuners and enter you 8l90.gear ratios it will tell you the proper.rear end ratio you need in order for it to not shift bam bam bam bam ....it needs it since the first gears are so short its trying to get you up to proper speed
Hi I have swapped a 6.2 l86 and 8l90e in my c10 . I used psi conversion for my standalone and PCM and TCM. the TCM goes to quick relearn but the system gets aborted and it my autel comes with this message: 1_ the engine stalled 2_ although the gear selector is in drive the transmission exhibt the characteristic of neutral gear. I have used Dexhp fluid. The transmission has less than 50k miles on it. Would you know why its doing that. I really appreciate you.

What exhaust is that? Sounds like flowmaster . Please share the details. Definitely sounds chambered.

Every day life with me not sure if speedo worked either. They have the can bus module. They just haven’t hooked it up yet
