My voice is definitely suffering today but always worth it to cheer on County. Our away support is immense. Grimsby definitely deserved a win more than us, bit of a shit one to take but we go again. Grimsby fans so far have been the loudest to come to Edgeley Park this season so you should enjoy it if you go in their away end at some point. Good video, really enjoyed it, but you didn't really see any of Grimsby, except the East Marsh part of the Town, Freeman Street and the old fish docks, which are recognised as one of the most deprived and run down areas in the whole country. Not a true reflection of our town, and certainly not of Cleethorpes, where the ground is actually located. You didn't even visit a proper fish and chip shop, so imagine just how nice haddock and chips can be 😋. Really impressed by the Stockport away fans though, I think both these teams have a following that are a credit to the division. Great to see us both back in league 2. UTM!.

It's easy to slag off a town centre (although Grimsby play in Cleethorpes). What's less easy is to ask yourself why it's that way, in this case - why did the fishing capital of the world turn into this? Hint - it has a little something to do with the EU and a certain policy related to fisheries.
Your rite mate same thing happened to Fleetwood town ,back in the day had 30 deep sea vessels,50 medium range around 100 fishing boats now got 3 like many things thatcher put them down .
Well it also has a ton to do with the Conservative policies rather than just the EU. The EU obviously wasn't great for them, but there is a fair bit of misplaced anger. I'm not pro-EU by any measure as a note, I think it's just important to realise as the lad above said... Thatcherism is mostly to blame.

What about tranmere fans I agree Grimsby fans are immense but Stockport are a money club which I personally think takes a lot away but tranmere fans are loud home or away and bring hundreds to an away game whether it gillingham away(which is 7 hours away) or Crewe away(which is 1 hour away).
