Love the content of this video! Even the putting one in the basement and having your wife hate you comment was awesome.
Thanks, Craig! The spouses usually come around.
I just set up my Carl's Place DIY Enclosure. 8'6 x 10'0x 5'0. It fit together perfect. The enclosure arrived ahead of schedule. I removed a few bungees to deal with the bounce back. I may need to remove a few more. Screen looks great. Just waiting on my new PC...
So glad to hear it, Tom! Happy golfing.
Where did you buy your side wall nets and poles? Were they premade or did you have cut them out of a larger net? Did it come with the pipe insulation?
Hello John! While we cannot speak to how Smash Factor Indoor Golf made their side wall nets, we can say that we offer those as an add-on safety piece for our enclosures. And our enclosures do not come with pipe insulation, but we do offer add-on foam inserts to protect the frame around the impact screen. Contact our customer service with any other questions you have! www.carlofet.com/contact.
Do you know how far away they have their impact screens from the tee off spot?
I believe these were 5' deep enclosures, so looks like they are hitting around 9-10' away from the screens. Keep in mind that we always recommend hitting from 10' away from the screen!
What are the full dimensions of their enclosures? The video says 8x12, but those look a lot taller.
These are actually our 8.5x14.5 units, so they have an overall frame height of 107" by a width of 181". We can customize anything for your space!
