If you can master college and a kid, that tells you alot about the college and their "educational value". It wasn't hard and it should've been harder. Life has consequences.
Plenty of people do this every single day. Yall only think uts hard because we've become such a soft country. Sounds like yall have no idea how many young, single Mothers who were in college with me. People have been telling us that we can't do it alone and we need govt help and blah, blah, blah... but they only do that because they don't want us to know just how strong and resilient we actually are. They want us to set our sights lower and feel like oppressed victims. Well, I did it. (This girl was still in high school so most likely she had her parents to help but my situation was a little different. ) Anyone can do it if they want to. (It would've been great if I my birth control didn't always fail but it did and here we are). Granted, I was in HS (16 when I got pregnant) but I buckled down and graduated early. 3 days later, I started college classes. I got my EMT license in 8 months. Then went back and got my RN at 24. I had 3 kids. My babies are 22, 18, and 14. I'm still in my 30s. Lots of people have done it. But people have become so lazy and unmotivated now.
â@@MrKentakie Nope. This girl lived at home with her parents. She was graduating from an alternative HS graduation. (This is usually a computer/internet based school option for teen mothers and delinquents who have truancy or behavioral issues.) My guess is she probably didn't have alot to do with her kid because of this video. She's the type to want attention. She brings her kid out for attention and pity whenever it's convenient but I bet she usually leaves him with her parents to go out and she doesn't give him a 2nd thought. I've seen so many other Moms like this and it makes me sick. If she was an Involved mother?? She wouldn't let her baby disrupt the commencement ceremony. She would've been glad to get a break and some acknowledgement of her own that day. I can't imagine using my kid to get attention like she did. Extremely distasteful if you ask me.
â@@inthelandofmorethansmall7582 I am assuming that you made a lot of assumptions here. Is there another video or more information out there? Regarding a high-school graduation (doubt it by the look of the ceremony and way they are dressed.) The part I will completely agree with, is that she had family helping her fully. If she has a supportive family, I can't be mad at her because I don't. Because of my trauma, it does annoy me when I hear how incredibly strong she is and started from the bottom, did it all on her own, blah blah blah. Similar to the girls you'd see on social media, always having hair &nails done, going to bars and concerts and they seem to only use their child as a photo prop. I actually had a girl in my graduating class in high-school who was a teen mom. Her parents allowed her to move *out of state* so that she could enjoy the college experience. Her f*cking infant child stayed at home with her parents. During her 4 year degree, joining a sorority and visiting home on weekends and holiday breaks. THAT, is distasteful and I feel she will never have the right to say "Baby I worked so hard for you." Again, it is no one else's fault that I experienced loads of childhood trauma, at 30, I am just learning to accept it, and seek therapy. I am a single mom, I have a 4 y.o. daughter and it is just her & I. Thank God she recently started preschool but before that, it was just us together 24/7, I didn't get a break. I'm not lucky enough to have a good support system or any family. so hearing people claim the single mom line to get sympathy, or when the reality isn't what they try to portray. Even with baby sitters, Financial help and a supportive loving family & good upbringing... she still was able to complete college, she deserves a lot of credit.
I paid my way and Debbie came along 2/3 rds the way, but we made it. At graduation, my Dad was holding Debbie in balcony near by, and she yelled out when my name was called, "THAT'S MY MOMMY"!!!! Youngstown State University, 1966, so many turned and smiled. My heart was so full and happy.

Iâm sure she had a good support system behind her to help the process â€. With no help it is very difficult and with help itâs still stressful, but some help is better then no help
Maybe I'm just hating because I'm raising my toddler on my own. no family, no support system. no babysitters. no one paying my rent. we actually spent this past Christmas alone after a friend suddenly stopped answering around lunch time when we were dressed and waiting to leave. Some peopled accomplishments are huge, and they will never get an ounce of recognition. She deserves her moment, but she also needs to make it clear that it is NOT as simple as "If I can do it, anyone can." I have to remind myself that my traumas aren't anyone else's fault. It is amazing that she had the determination to finish school, and not live off of her parents or whoever is supporting her. But I wouldn't consider her a super woman like many of the comments. I wish others moms, who have actually crawled through hell to give their children a good life, I wish THEY could go viral and get some recognition.
What a great mom you are. You are an example that one can accomplish anything they put their mind to. You son will grow up knowing how much his mom loved him and wanted to give him the best. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH AS SHE CONTINUE YOUR JOURNEY TOGETHER. SWEET MEMORY AND MORE TO MAKE.

Lol I was just thinking about that today. All these people that say "I was a single mom and worked three jobs and so on..." but you didn't do it by yourself unless you left your kids home alone. It's almost glorifying the struggle and not everyone can handle it nor is it healthy to try and do everything by yourself (not saying anyone needs to be in a relationship, but it helps to have a friend who can babysit or another parent, a good daycare, etc...)

There's a age for everything ..letting your kid have sex at the age of 16 is wrong ...and please if you are an American its useless to teach you guys basic morals. Kids there have sex at 12 13...
This young lady is setting a great example for her son. Hard work pays off!đ©âđ
Beautiful and meaningful exemple.
Worst example to put all that on her mom
đđđ
Real example would be her being married and not having kids out of wedlockđ€·đŸââïž
Get a kid at young age as a student and then carry them around for attention. Yeah great example
The truth about taking care of your responsiblity. She turned it into a joy. May God bless you and your loved ones for valuing life.
You did it girl . We're all so proud of you . God bless you both. â€đ
He looks so cute dressed in his graduation cap and gown too. It's so original. WOW !
TOO CUTEđ
It should be original. So many parents have done this through out the years.
I am so proud of her ! I did the same thing in high school with my daughter , I had to drop out because of health issues , the following year I returned and got my diploma , hearing my daughter shout out that's my momma !! she was so proud of me and now that little girl passed the bar and is now a lawyer ! . never give up !
You sure laid the foundations for her success. Congratulations to both of you.
Thank u so much I am so proud of her
Congratulations, you're Strong. đđđđđ
Jaw dropped & got teary eyed!!!
I Pray The Lord be with her !
Exactly. How many ladies are told killing your baby is the only choice. Please see the beauty in life. đđ»
Ooohhh breathtaking!!!!! Congratulatiins momma..youre extraordinary....best wishes for you both
Good on her, her son is the reason she got graduated. Her son is her source of strength. Congratulations đâ€
GOD IS THE SOURCE OF ALL STRENGTH ( the child & bills may be a source of inspiration)
God isnât real, so no. But ok
This is beautiful! It made me think of my mom who went to college when I was 1.5 and finished when I was 4. She became a Mechanical Engineer and she was a single parent/disabled veteran. Thank you Mom for teaching me what working hard does for you.
your mom is a wonder woman. she sounds amazing and youâre blessed to have such a great role model in your life.
My Mum went to college and graduated with two children ( one being disabled) . Got a job right away working for the Smithsonian Institute. It's wonderful that the Young Lady succeeded in accomplishing her goals ! đ
Warms my heart.
As a mechanical engineering student I know how hard it is to get through ur classes. Hearing ur moms story motivates me to keep pushing forward, cuz compared to what she had to go through I'm living through heaven. Give her a hug for me đ
â@@arz131 Why did you choose to major in Mechanical Engineering?
this channel is so precious and makes me so happy for sharing the beauty of being human
LOVE that she graduated from school and with her son too! LOVE THE LITTLE CAP N GOWN the son is wearing at GRADUATION đđđ
Props to her for taking care of her child while going to college. Those 2 things could be really stressful but she pushed forward. Her son being at her graduation just makes it so heartwarming
(This girl was still in high school so most likely she had her parents to help but my situation was a little different. )
Anyone can do it if they want to.
(This is usually a computer/internet based school option for teen mothers and delinquents who have truancy or behavioral issues.)
My guess is she probably didn't have alot to do with her kid because of this video.
Extremely distasteful if you ask me.
â@@inthelandofmorethansmall7582
I am assuming that you made a lot of assumptions here. Is there another video or more information out there? Regarding a high-school graduation (doubt it by the look of the ceremony and way they are dressed.)
The part I will completely agree with, is that she had family helping her fully.
THAT, is distasteful and I feel she will never have the right to say "Baby I worked so hard for you."
Again, it is no one else's fault that I experienced loads of childhood trauma, at 30, I am just learning to accept it, and seek therapy.
@@inthelandofmorethansmall7582 this is so true.
I bet she was so adorable and very proud of you. đ

Proud of you girl congratulations
Best determined warrior queen many could learn from you continue your go far while teaching and showing your son
She deserves her moment, but she also needs to make it clear that it is NOT as simple as "If I can do it, anyone can."
I have to remind myself that my traumas aren't anyone else's fault.
It is amazing that she had the determination to finish school, and not live off of her parents or whoever is supporting her.
But I wouldn't consider her a super woman like many of the comments. I wish others moms, who have actually crawled through hell to give their children a good life, I wish THEY could go viral and get some recognition.

@@ContactsNfilters what? You infer all that from her simple statement about her determination to succeed. You donât know what she went through or if her family was there for her. It would have been far easier just to say congratulations and great job, than to be so mean and spiteful.
No one in this generation wants to hear the truth.
Wrong. I had my son in highschool and my parents havenât raised my son at all. The only reason theyâve even baby sat him at all is because my mom asked to. Just because youâre too immature to raise a child doesnât mean everyone else is.

This is not to outshine this outstanding mother, but I was raising a child with mental illness, we were living in housing in a violent city. I was going to college full time, waitressing to make money to survive. Father was long gone.
