    Read-eval-print-loop (REPL), commonly found and popularized through IPython Notebooks and the Jupyter has found quite a few applications today, from data analytics to machine learning applications to code prototyping alike. In this presentation we'll cover a brief history of what makes REPL different and demonstrate a few examples of how it can be used in day-to-day coding applications that highlight its strengths as well as point out limitations of the approach.

    About Speaker:
    Kumar Abhishek currently works as a software engineer at Google. He has previously been a Google Summer of Code alumnus with BeagleBoard.org. Besides software, he likes to work on circuits and hardware and has his engineering blog at theembeddedkichen.net and his non-tech interests include music and arts.
