    I feel like he knew how to roll over but was teasing the mom with those smiles. Like I'll do it in a moment, but I gotta smile first

    I think there are so many videos out there like this one that are misleading. Back in 60s, there is no tummy time but babies all turn out to be fine. Now with tummy time all over the place, both parents and babies are put under great pressure. There seems to be a competition on how early my baby can lift up her/his head and how good my baby is at tummy time. But we seem to have forgotten that all babies are different. And surely being able to do tummy time or roll over at an early age is no indicator of later success in life. You don’t hear Elon musk talking about his success related to his early success in tummy time. These kind of videos become parents’ show off time. I know I can choose not to watch it but I just want to let ppl know, especially parents who feel bad about their own baby not being able to lift their head up at three month, be happy with your baby wherever they are in their developmental stages. As long as your doctor said the baby is fine, being able to meet those milestones on time or even earlier is absolutely having nothing to do with your baby’s later life.

      @jyotikiran73 Před 3 lety +3

      I totally agree with you. In India there is no concept of tummy time. Babies lay on they and then one day they roll over. If I say my grandma and mother importance of tummy time and all she will laugh at me..

    • @Yakumoki
      @Yakumoki Před 2 lety +2

      I agree.. it puts alot of stress and worry for new parents because they think their baby is slow but there will always be babies meeting milestones earlier and later

    • @kaladwarakanath5503
      @kaladwarakanath5503 Před 2 lety +5

      I completely agree. Tummy time and 'teaching' babies to do stuff are all totally unnecessary and they put undue pressure on babies! Why can't these new parents just enjoy their babies?

      @sagarikasaraswati3857 Před 2 lety +2

      Oh that's an eye opener msg👍👍👍.. Truly said. But i am an Indian.. Tummy time is good for releasing excess gas of my baby n nothing more than that.. N I also noticed those who r so called developmental delayed person r doing grt n sometimes better than average person.....

    • @ecoxocticeternal816
      @ecoxocticeternal816 Před rokem

      You are right. Many parents are not aware that a baby who has shown signs of rapid movements early could be a symptom of over active nerves. That sometimes can mean an over active child and could require mediction to stay calm. The world is a hectic place and over active people burn out fast. So it is best let a baby take time to grow and learn peacefully.

    How cute! He is adorable, but why do you have to 'teach' him to roll over? Let him do it at his own pace when his body is ready. Don't push him.

    • @kenstrothers9236
      @kenstrothers9236 Před 6 lety +10

      He's clearly ready since he's trying to roll over. Nothing wrong with encouraging him to keep working at it.

    • @kaladwarakanath5503
      @kaladwarakanath5503 Před 3 lety +2

      The baby is only five weeks old, she says. Why push the baby to perform? Just let the baby be and enjoy him. He won't be this little for long. Let him do things at his own pace and do things when his body is ready.

  • @jessiejames7492

    My almost 3 mth old grandson rolled to his side then got angry with himself because he couldn’t turn back. I dont think theyre supposed to be turning all the wsy on their tummies at this age.
