Didn’t expect them to release this episode on of this 6 or 5 year old show
Still a good show
This is the new version, didn't it just come out not too long ago
@@foreverandonward that’s what I’m saying

"Kino's Journey - the Beautiful World" is like watching a hand of poker between skilled players, who choose not to go "all in". Elements are mostly subtle and deliberate until the major plot twist, which is when the audience collectively takes in a breath.
Nice episodic anime, with short stories each episode focusing on a new city each episode. In each new episode is a new city, but each city has a certain "twist" or "theme" surrounding that city. Each city are considered almost isolated from other cities so the cities have their own laws, systems, beliefs and Kino the main character is an adventurer who travels to all these different cities to learn as much as possible and he often tells the stories of previous cities to the people in other cities. Without spoiling anything, just imagine you travelled to another country for the first time the culture and everything would be a completely different experience, this whole concept is overexaggerated a lot in kino's journey to the point where some cities may feel futuristic and some may feel ancient. The ideologies of the people in the cities is comparable to religions, but it's just their ideologies because the cities they live in have their own social constructs not shared with other cities. It's not supposed to be an action packed anime, although it does have several action scenes and moments as comes naturally with entering unfamiliar territory and facing possible dangers along the way.
"and he often tells the stories of previous cities to the people in other cities."
Kino is female.
@@Seneca_Williams Kino is genderless in the anime, there is an episode where someone asks kino's if they're a girl. Kino basically replied with that it's not important and doesn't have a gender. Or to be more specific gender fluid, Kino happily goes by either boy or girl
@@GrowingDownUnder Kino is a girl because there is an episode in where we first met Kino. She was in a dress and went by a different name. Kino's original name is Lily. The episode is called The Land of Adults.
@@jamesstutz6907 I saw the episode and you completely missed the part where Kino doesn't care about gender. Kino is happily to be a boy or girl because kino is gender neutral. Being in a dress doesn't make you a girl neither does having the name lily. Gender is what ever you identify as, I think Kino actually mainly identifies as a boy hence the name Kino which comes from the mechanic kino was saved by and kino basically took on that identity for himself.
@@jamesstutz6907 explain the name kino then...that's a boys name. Kino goes by kino because mainly identifies as a guy
I loved this show, super underrated in my opinion
Agreed
Kino's Journey has been one of the highest rated shows on anidb for 15 years..
@@EsquilaxM I don’t use anidb
Absolutely loved this show, such a unique and interesting watch!
Fair warning to new watchers: This show is dark
Isn’t that the original as well ?
@@watchforever1724 Potentially, I never saw the original anime
@@roguewave4396 you should because that’s sorta the tone of the show
really!!!
It’s ironic. This is set to premiere on April Fools Day, but this anime is no joke.
Hermes is one of my all-time favorites!!
I love this anime! It's criminally underrated and deserves more love! ❤️❤️❤️
It’s set to premiere on April Fools Day. This better be an ordinary video, and no joke.
I can't wait to see reborn to master the blade in English dubbed episode 1
Already watch this series excellent anime waiting for season 2
season 2 has been out for ages already lol, you mean season 3? most people think season 2 was a remake but actually it's not it's season 2, you will know by looking at the episode titles to compare them
@@GrowingDownUnder It is a remake The Coliseum, Kino's origin story, and how Kino got her second gun is different. The guy in the Coliseum has more screen time.
@@jamesstutz6907 I wouldn't consider it a remake, because there is plenty of parts that aren't in season 1 and some completely different episodes. Maybe you can consider it like the FMA brotherhood, but not exactly a remake since it was different
The og has some good stories too that this one doesn't do. I like the train one.
@@Night-ec7ef It puzzles me that the 3 guys don't use common sense. Train tracks not in use for 50 years and they are not yet completed yet. At the start of the episode we see incomplete tracks. I am also surprised they haven't caught up to each other yet. I also love the original ❤
That guy who tried to kill Kino is basically Postal Dude without plot armor or a petition.
Already watched this anime. But this anime is great!
Happy April fools day everybody
An anime series where people carrying weapons I love this series
So it's like everyone in this town is free to defend themselves and each other.
It makes sense. It’s a very reliable, if brutal, method of keeping a society stable
Second Amendment in a nutshell
A long forgotten series very epic
Pika Pika!! ⚡️
the original kino's bizzare adventure was the best 😍😍
Can’t wait to watch Kino’s Journey
You didn’t see this yet ?
@@watchforever1724 nope saw the ads of it back in the day while watching rhapsody death march in another world. I never got into it.
@@gc6096 I got into this series back before I saw this remake because i’v heard about the reviews
@@watchforever1724 cool
GREAT SHOW I HAVE THE WHOLE SERIES ITS PRETTY GOOD
VAMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Early squad, where ya at?
Killing is legal? that guy makes it sound like the purge in that town
HEY I SAID KAGUYA SAMA LOVE IS WAR EPISODE 1!
The guy that Kino gets into a conflict with ( he’s not too bright) , the reason-he came to that country because murder is legal, However.. he didn’t take notice that nobody in this country is killing each other, they all get along, But kino Did notice this( a place like that would be like the Wild West-Gunfighting,fist fighting, However none of that is happening in this country), it is legal But Not in the way this guy thinks
I have to see about owning this series.
Hxh has prepared me for shows like this. I'm ready to get my heart broken.
6:14 I don't know which gun is Kino's favorite. The cannon or the woodsman
22:30 back to 0:05
I see Lawrence is doing alright in the afterlife
Nice anime
I love adult swim
Another great dark series
Talking to a bike
oo
girl turns her ex boyfriend into a motorcycle
My advice watch the original then this remake
Wait is this a remake or continuation ?
@@MrRobot1984 a remake
it's not actually a remake btw, it's more of a sequel
@@GrowingDownUnder it kinda is because the stories are similar to the original I mean the tournament match
@@GrowingDownUnder It is a remake The Coliseum, Kino's origin story and how Kino got her second gun is different. Even the guy from the Coliseum has more screen time.
