For me and all the dark nights of the soul, since I left an unhealthy marriage 23yrs ago, I can confirm that the only love that fills the soul is unconditional love…it’s the flow of the universe. It does exist, it does not exist in the other ( although it can, if they work on their inner wounded child triggers…I often find myself in bliss and joy…took a long time to get there and you get a deep sense of “knowingness” that previously was not there…I don’t need “ another” to fulfill me…I can reach that love within me myself

Love and attachment (needing/thirsting/longing/craving/clinging) are two very different things.
Love dissolves the ego and is a giving...attachment feeds the ego and is a taking.
When you find your true love you need them like a fish needs water.

For better or worse Eckhart changed my world. Still get lost from time to time. A lot easier now to bring myself out of thinking. Amazing how it can creep in. Love is not in the hand of others.

@@SuperRichie200 how many years have you been together in this infatuation stage? It always wears off and then you are both left with an awful lot of work to do…infatuation stage normally lasts between 18mnth and 3yrs depending on how much time you spend together in close proximity.
This is the best definition of why love for a child is different. It's not just the emotion, it is because it is the window to what is possible when we see each other as presence and one.
When you fall in love with the fullness of your being you begin to rise in love.

That's so funny with the voice of the mother. I've started speaking to myself in a very loving and humorous tone which is very unlike my mother's tone and it has really enriched my relationship with myself. And as myself I am enjoying loving my lover unconditionally freely and truly

You can keep watching your pain and thoughts for the rest of your life, or you can actually end your emotional backlog by accepting and letting your feelings hurt you. Then the upset feelings and and noise in your head ends. Take the situations in your past (breakups, deaths, insults, people you are angry with), one at a time accept what happened and let the feelings hurt you... I suggest making such a session every day - for some this can take a long time... But it is the real solution.... I tried Eckhart's advice for years - its only works when you don't have much emotional backlog/debt.
Some people are simply ready 😉
That’s the help of dissolving the pain body. Look up some quotes by Ceanne DeRohan on healing the emotional body, I think it will really resonate with the work you’ve done/been doing!
Now love is a pretty strong thing... for most people, it is already difficult enough not to "get lost" in the pull of much weaker distractions in day to day life

Recognition of yourself in the other was shown in the Alchemist book by Paulo Coelho. In the updated version's preface. In the Narcissus story it was given a higher spiritual love meaning. Narcissus recognizes himself in the lake. When he dies, the lake cries because it too used to look in his eyes and recognize itself.

Here are my 10 extra tips to INCREASE your daily manifestations that I’ve learned over the years..👇🏾
1. Practice gratitude every morning. When you wake up, list everything that you are grateful for and feel that gratitude in your core. Feel free to write things down in a journal so it is easy for you to remember.
2. Replace your negative thoughts with positive ones. Every time you feel a negative thought coming on, make a positive spin on it right away.
3. Take ownership for things that happen in your life. It's easy to blame others however you will feel much better when you realize that most issues stem from us.
4. ALWAYS believe that good things are about to happen. By being open to new possibilities you are inviting abundance into your life.
5. Remember that like attracts like so you get back whatever you put out, whether it is good or bad. So do good AND received good.
6. Meditate for five minutes a day. During this time focus on how you want your life to be; but place your focus on how you feel AND feel that feeling as if you have already accomplished those goals.
7. Step outside of your comfort zone. Stop playing it safe and make that decision to finally go for your dreams.
8. Focus on activities that make you feel truly happy. When you are truly happy you have the best vibrational frequency to manifest your desires.
9. Avoid the naysayers and surround yourself with people who only lift you higher. Downers will be downers, don't let them drag you into their misery.
10. Don't be afraid to dream and know that you are always supported by the universe.

When Eckhart says 'look into the eyes of another you are the other' this is a profound notion for if this can take place there is freedom from the sensation called I, Me, Self, for there is an unguarded receiving of the other person (or animal or object). That seeing, sensing takes place from here, from where the eyes are and not on the subject, as over there.

When you are on your journey to self-discovery, then you need to know that there is a reason for it. You have to understand that the purpose of your life is related to finding answers and understanding what is important in your life. When you want something in life, then don't lose the time and try to move forward. You have to understand that everything happens for a reason. Life is not meaningless. Your thoughts, actions and feelings are connected with each other. You have to remember this and you have to live your life in a way that is meaningful for you.

You are correct there are different levels of love and more you express those to the outer world the more you find your own gifts to bring to the world and the gifts that others offer you if you show choose to take them. Every interaction is beneficial to us just don't stress missing an opportunity, there are always infinite chances to begin again.

Those parts are our painbody at different ages and formed through our trauma that we didn't know how to process. It's actually called Family Parts. it's good to talk to them and listen to them, embrace them - we can become more whole. Who we are is more complicated than this. We do, however, find wholeness, in my experience, when we are out of our mind and in presence. I just have not found it to be the totality of healing. It is, however, a huge part of healing - consciousness.
Basically, he's describing internal family systems...there is a paradox of accepting/integrating these aspects of self and "transcending" it. The duality, the you loving yourself is really awareness loving all of who you are. Namaste
