I would never dare to say I have a favorite Courtney song, because everyone is so magical and special in it's own right, but I think 'Someone You Loved' show so much of Courtney's vocal power, range and control within one song. You get the beautiful balled voice, the gorgeous falsetto and then the signature Courtney grit. No artist, past or present, sings with the kind of raw passion that Courtney does. You hit it spot on when you talked about how she feels the music and her ability to feel the music so deeply as it flows through her, allows her to connect with her listeners at the kind of deep emotional level that few, if any artists, ever achieve. Best of all, when Courtney sings a cover, she always makes it her own. Her creativity is off the charts. One of Courtney's fans played this version of 'Someone You Loved' for the songs originator, Lewis Capaldi', and he couldn't say enough about how amazing both Courtney's voice and her version of this song were. She is a generational talent, destined to set the music world on fire. Also, note that she was only 14 when she recorded this gem. This song is part of a four song EP that Courtney released in 2019. You've reacted to 3 of the 4, and the last one is just as sensational. She takes the massive hit Country/Hip Hop song, 'Old Town Road' and turns it into a rock anthem.
