    I join my first gokarting championship with the Melbourne Intertrack Karting Championship or IKC for short.
    There's a light and heavy division with 80+kg drivers in the heavy division. I'm way under that so I'm in the lights.
    The first round of the championship is at Le Mans Entertainment Complex in Dandenong and we have a 10 lap qualifying session and 20 lap race.
    Let's see how we go!

    Hey mate, were these the fastest karts there? I thought they hit 80kph?

      Hi Brosion. Nah these are the fastest karts they have and they do not get up to 80.

      @@KevinYep damn… we just went on Saturday and they felt fast but definitely not 80kph. Thanks mate

      @@SuperDRAY88 Listening to the kart, sounds like most of its high end (17000rpm) is at about the 60kph mark. I'd imagine that a tailwind probably allows it to hit 80kph. There's also a lot of other factors, like the weight of the driver that could influence this
