In the journey to most improved, she didn’t comform to today's mindset of working on shots and offense. She focused on being a great defender and it's translated to her offense. She even made personal adjustments for her nails to be a better player. Respect😌😌

They were down 28 and Sides pulled all starters because of bad effort beside boston got left out there. Season low 22 minutes for clark. Connecticut fans chanting for her to play on the rd of a blowout in the 4th was wild.

Clark wasn't playing very good defense.
It wouldn't be a surprise if she sat on the bench because there were times early she wasn't putting any effort out to put a hand in the opponent's face and gave up multiple easy takes / baskets.
(Maybe she wasn't feeling well, but the bench players in the 4th at least looked like they were trying to hold the line.)

And many teams in the league struggle to defend the pick n roll for some reason. Like they'll try to go under the screen. Which you never do if you're guarding a 3 point shooter. So i was like, if Connecticut get lost on the pick n roll, then that's when Caitlin does the step back and let's it fly! She did catch Carrington once on that screen. But i didn't realize Connecticut was gna go single coverage. Notice they didn't double on the pick hardly at all! Most teams double on the pick. I noticed ny didn't double on the pick either. They just switched just like Connecticut did! I don't think the other teams figured that out yet but ny and Connecticut have!
