Oh wow, she was mad-mad. Look, I've been a T-Spoon fan since her days as a player, but this is not a good look. I get that she's upset, and she should be (because they've been playing very VERY badly), but she has to get herself together before these interviews. We all hate having to attend stupid meetings, but it's part of the job. T-Spoon, pull it together, breathe and understand that you represent not just yourself, but your team and the W. None of that fire can change what already happened on the court. Get those players in the gym against some really hoopers and work on making shots. T-Spoon was a great player, but needs a little help in the management department. Understanding how to play great ball is one thing, but communicating and teaching that to her players may take some training. And that's ok. Nothing good came from that interview and that's a waste. All coaches have different demeanors and personalities. We don’t have to agree or like a coach; but, just like Bobby Knight, hall of fame coach that coached Indiana University. I personally did not like him, but he was one of the greatest coaches to coach the game. Just saying, respect the work, because Theresa Weatherspoon has done as much for this game as most, and deserves the respect. I watched every interview, and they were articulate, specific to the point, and she spoke with kindness. A coach does not have to give away the inner workings of a locker room. Most coaches are vague, because the media twists words! Not sure what everyone else is seeing, before she showed frustration for the first time. Some media outlets try to create drama instead of discussing and dissecting the game. She answered the ladies question 3 times. The media is not the coach. Rome was not built in a day; ask the question and move on. Report what was said and not the narrative. However, i truly respect your take on it. Great dialogue.

On the pnr Dana never passes it , instead settles for that stupid floater that she misses. Marina has not been playing well as of late. Bench her.

She sat down knowing what they were going to ask her. I'm willing to bet management had a talk with her before coming out to the press table about her starting decisions. She knows it was her fault, and that's where the frustration is coming from. She put up a brick wall. She has no problem making as many changes and subs as necessary in the game until things start going right, but by then the 1st quarter is wasted. They need to start working on the biggest hole in their game- the opening. It's been glaring and obvious what needs to be done. Time is running out in the games, and in the season. They need to pull the nose of the plane up now. This team is too good to be at the bottom of the standings.

every player on sky team has a role!! one of the roles a coach plays is to developed the players who really about this life who has goals for them self in the WNBA and beach the ones who don't show up consistent . learn to group your player and not mix and match them work more with data and not how you feel as a coach because trust me numbers don't lie so every coach need to know their players capability under pressure and during the everything is going right moment.

Chennedy Carter needs to be in the starting lineup, with either Evans or Mabrey coming off the bench. I think even casual WNBA fans can see this. The team plays better basketball when Carter is the game. Weatherspoon has to stop being stubborn and her attitude has been really bad in these press conferences. Well mabry is the one that Jack's up everything, diamond does too, dana to me plays too unselfish at times.. she needs to be more aggressive like chennedy and when not be confident in the post feeding. Tired of kamilla only getting 7 shots a game.. they barely look at reese in the post or for dropoffs when attacking the paint too.. overall the guard play is terrible as a whole. Lucy allen is just as terrible 🙄... they just need to get some shooters and wing length...

She has no problem making as many changes and subs as necessary in the game until things start going right, but by then the 1st quarter is wasted. They need to start working on the biggest hole in their game- the opening.

Also none of these coaches EVER take responsibility for their teams poor performance and then they expect the players to go out and bust their asses for the coach. Not happening. Any coach that claims that it is not their job to coach effort is a clown. You fire them up. You pull them out for a few minutes and tip in to them and get them going. You don’t pull everyone out and let them sit the rest of the 3rd and 4th quarter and give up. Terrible. Do something to help your team for once.
